I have to agree with you and BR, it doesn't matter what you say when she signals...shoot your shot and do not overthink it,
last civvy I met...she was sending the telltale body language cues so I just babbled something, unintelligible I might add haha

depends where you are and a common interest is a great conversation starter. My current SO, I went to a concert with friends, so did she. On the way out in a large group we were all chatting about the show, I noticed she and I were speaking lower and getting closer. As we finished crossing the bridge from Ontario place we were both about 50 feet behind our sets of friends, I asked what she was doing next...she had no plans so we went to Brazenhead for a couple of drinks. If you have a mutual interest, it is easy to start a conversation, in my case, we both liked the same type of music.
