Some breeds of dogs are naturally highly aggressive and easily irritable by strange sounds ,sights and smells.And kids can exude fear easily and run -readily triggering the chase-kill instinct.Also some breeders breed /sell dogs with poor social genetics plus stupid owners like this one and people-esp kids are hurt/killed.A simple muzzle while walking a known large/aggressive dog breed will solve 99%of attack problems-hope the kid makes a full recovery..
I saw a comment on Reddit about her and her partner were already involved in a lawsuit from 2022 related to a dog attack and that they kept two American Pocket Bullies.She didn't turn herself in despite her pictures posted everywhere, unbelievable. What kind of dog is it, can someone tell?

This is exactly why they should be illegal. The dogs are genetically bred as attack dogs and too many people who own them essentially use them as weapons.

Given her history I'd hope the Judge sentences her to a period of incarceration on the criminal negligence charge.

Way too many of these idiots. I walked past Stanley Park, downtown this afternoon. Counted 6 medium-large size dogs all off their leash and they were right next to a sectioned off dog park which they couldn't be bothered to use.
