Asks for ID for safety then asks if you know the law around sex workers and lets you know she is working for the police who are on their way. All after she has taken your money.
That's really sucks man

That's why I don't do entransfer or deposits or my ID ever or any SP who requires my id as part of their screening process. Because you giving your information to a person you know absolutely nothing about because the SP is not using their real name or email sometimes it could be a pimp it any other criminals they are working with. I see no benefit for a client giving up their personal information to anyone

But it's a shame that you had to go through This and all these scammers taking advantage of some guys.

When a SP ask for information for screening purposes for their own safety which I respect. I asked them what about my privacy and safety as well

That sucks this happened to you , there are a few girls now, that are doing that exactly, if you did an image search you would have found out that images are stolen,

I believe these are the same scammers in Ottawa using that technique I believe I was scammed by the exact same person as you did 2 years ago,

Last year she used verified pics, FYI what I learned is actual police the time they do a sting will not tell you , simply would put you in handcuffs as soon as you enter a room,

So note if a girl tells you she is with police, she is not 100% and threated to trash the place if she doesn't give you your money back as she is not police.

This is probably the same girl that scammed me a couple of years ago. What a piece of shit she is! Really bottom of the cesspool type of person. I wish there was a way to report them, but I’m not sure they care, and like me at the time, when it happens, you’re too panicked to call the authorities or hotel to repot them.

@surfer83 are you aware of any kind of police sting ever happening in Ottawa?

Not aware of any police sting, but I noticed in Toronto and Ottawa on the news every 10 years when they want to track down traffickers they set up a sting. and from what I have seen across north america is guys are in cuffs as they enter the room.
I did once report to the hotel from a private number and gave them room number etc, but they dont care, I felt like the receptionist was treating me like the criminal and not the person impersonating the police, and stealing money.

Ya, I’m sure the front desk knows this kind of thing is happening, and don’t want to be involved. Most of them probably get paid minimum wage, and aren’t interested in moonlighting as security.

I just wish there was a way to route out these scammers. This Alice one is the worst, if it a the same one I’m thinking of.

A few weeks ago I was at a local club/spa. Just as I was leaving there was a firm knock on the door. About 6 cops. Asked me if I had been drinking (no) and looked around the room. Asked everyone if they were ok, then asked me to produce ID. I asked if they thought that I was under age. (I am definitely not). They said no. I asked why they wanted ID and if I was being detained. They said that I could go. I later heard that they were doing the same at other locations in the city.

I don’t visit spas for that very reason. Cops and I don’t mesh well. Permanent locations can easily become a target for LE. Pants down…rock hard and a loud knock at the door? Nope!

Can you clarify, was it an AMP, another popular spa (ie CMJ, Aplha etc)

Ya, not a good situation. And considering the premium they charge and you don’t know what is on offer, it doesn’t seem worth the while.

Sounds very similar to what happened to me this week. See my tale of woe here:

With the need to be discreet, this is a little concerning to me re: visit by cops to spa. I tend to stay away from independents due to the number of scammers, now this would scare me a away from spa's.

Yup. Sounds like the exact same scam. She’s going to do this to the wrong person some day.
