Well, Hamas has rejected a ceasefire. Guess they want a Ramadan war.
That is self determination.
Polling has Palestinians overwhelmingly rejecting Israeli citizenship and in East Jerusalem and Golan where Israel actively encourages them to become citizens they choose not to. Just an aspect of your racist elitism demanding the Palestinians accept your demands even though they hate them.
And the fact that 75% of Palestinians want a Palestinian state to replace Israel is a big part of the problem, not that you care what Palestinians want.
I called you out on it in another thread. You claim to support self determination which means Palestinians have the right to determine their future and the Israelis have the same right.
The challenge for people interested in peace is getting both sides to negotiate something that works for both of them. Sadly you are too obsessed with your racist double-speak demanding Palestinians be forced into becoming Israelis while also demanding Israel be eliminated.
Hamas plays a good media game. They pretend to want a ceasefire but make demands so impossible to avoid that ceasefire. In this case they demand Israel completely withdraw and start rebuilding Gaza before they will consider releasing their hostages.
It's the same with peace where they demand Israel accept all Palestinian demands before negotiating, knowing that it will sound good to the naïve in their western audience but avoids the possibility of ending the conflict which is the sole reason for their existence.
Amazing how much the Toronto Police will tolerate without shutting down this protest, and other similar ones, to ensure scheduled events that had nothing to do with the Middle East conflict be allowed to take place.
Hamas is as good at charming the ultra left idiots as Trump is at charming the ultra right.
My view?
If you want to discuss this UN report we need you to first say all UN reports should be honoured and used for investigations.
So if you want to discuss it you need to start by admitting Israel is apartheid and the occupation is illegal, as the UN reported.
Once you agree that is true and UN reports worth believing, we can discuss this one.
