I think it lays with the person posting. I want to see a representation of who they think they are, what image they are offering.
I find some pics, service providers use pics representing what they think will make clients want. That’s great for getting them to contact you. However, if it is no you or at the very least what you are willing/able to deliver, they have one visit and likely a bad review.
To build a clientele, you need to catch their attention but then deliver the goods.
A simple one, is time frames. If you book for an hour but only deliver a 30 min session, you likely won’t get the late client coming back to you. Same, if you post a pic of you in a full length gown, all done up, holding two champagne glasses, but you greet them in dirty flannel pjs and your space is dirty, cluttered and smelling of cigarettes and cat piss, you have failed to deliver on expectations.
Bottom line, don’t post what we want to see. Post what you want to deliver. Then be sure to price your services accordingly.
