The ICJ demanded hamas release their hostages immediately. They never said Israel had to stop fighting Hamas.
Neither would be a thing if there was no Israeli occupation, genocide, apartheid and settler colonialism.
The ICJ only ordered Israel to act, to not commit genocide and, in particular, not kill Palestinians in Gaza.
Israel is committing even more genocide so South Africa asked the ICJ to intervene.
