terrorists protesting at a hospital.

When you have a female Jewish doctor’s car surrounded by Pro-Hamas protesters shouting “intifada,” while blocking people at an iconic hospital with Jewish roots, it’s no longer a protest but a hate crime.

The prime minister, premier, police and medical community agree.

“Interfering with the operations of a hospital is not acceptable,” said Toronto Police, adding officers are “investigating several incidents that occurred in front of Mount Sinai Hospital.”

Urging “decency,” Premier Doug Ford called out masked, Pro-Hamas protesters who pushed things too far Monday night in front of the “sacred” Jewish-inspired hospital. One demonstrator even scaled the front of Mount Sinai and got up on the University Ave. hospital’s awning.

LILLEY: Terrorist supporters harass hospital patients in Toronto
Screaming support for the intifada while banging on a military drum at a hospital is revolting

Cheering loudly for the intifada outside of a historically Jewish hospital is a vile act and it tells you all you need to know about the so-called “pro-Palestinian” protesters in the streets of Toronto.

Spare me the claims that intifada simply means shaking off, that’s like claiming jihad is a word that only means to struggle. Both words have been twisted by the violent ideology that is at the heart of terror movements like al-Qaida, ISIS or Hamas.

The people standing outside of Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto on Monday night banging on military style snare drums that get carried into battle were sending a message. They were cheering on the crumbling army of Hamas, the one they have been cheering on since Oct. 7.

They were doing so at a place of healing where the elderly, sick and vulnerable gather.

“Long live the intifada,” came the scream from one of the protest leaders.

Chanting that repeatedly outside of a Jewish hospital while banging out on battle drums is an attempt to intimidate — not just the patients, but anyone who might be Jewish. It’s vile, it’s disgusting, and it should be denounced at every turn.

It’s also not the first time this has happened — these same protesters in larger numbers have even blocked access to hospital row on Toronto’s University Ave. in the past. When anti-vaccine protesters did that, they were denounced daily with calls for passing extra laws, which the federal Liberals in Ottawa did.

This mob just keeps doing it.

After harassing the hospital, its patients and workers, the terror-supporting yobs marched through the streets of the city. They continued banging the drums along Yonge St. while chanting their slogans and arriving at Yonge and Bloor, site of the Israeli consulate, at around 9:30 in the evening.

Don’t be fooled into believing that these marchers aren’t backing the terrorist group Hamas and their brutal attack on Israel. Since Oct. 7 they have been calling for the intifada, which would include the murdering of civilians, raping of women, killing of children and taking of hostages.

Not once in all the protests that I’ve attended, walked with or covered since the first big event on Oct. 9, have I seen a single sign calling for the release of hostages. Not once has a single voice demanding a ceasefire laid any blame at the feet of Hamas, the terrorists who started this war.

The reality is simple: Hamas is the perpetrator of this war. If Hamas lays down their arms today, then the war would stop, but if Israel laid down their arms, Hamas would continue attacking with impunity.

Taking support for the war, and Hamas, to Mount Sinai Hospital, though, is like taking the banners to the Avenue Rd. bridge. It is no different than the many examples of these protesters showing up at Jewish owned businesses.

These are all acts of intimidation driven by anti-Semitism.

I have not heard of Muslim-owned businesses or institutions in Toronto being targeted with people protesting the actions of Hamas. Doing that would also be wrong but it amounts to the same thing as what is happening here.

The scourge of anti-Semitism has never gone away in Canada — since Oct. 7, those engaging in it have been much more vocal, much more brazen and quite frankly proud of their Jew hatred.

All of it, including the scene at Mount Sinai, is a sad statement on our society.
