1 - How does that refute the hundreds of hours of videos of Hamas tunnels buried under civilian or protected structures?
2- Yes, it is explicitly illegal for Hamas to build military infrastructure in protected sites or use the for military operations.

More significantly we both acknowledge how much poverty and lack of infrastructure there is in Gaza so it is morally reprehensible for Hamas to waste billions of dollars and use millions of tons of building supplies on their obsession with violence.
Why is it illegal for Palestinians to build tunnels?
Is this some Israeli rule for the concentration camp?

The green that you see on the map, is were Arabs live. Not Palestinians. The Palestinians live and have lived for several 100 centuries, on the small red, part highlighted on the map, along with the Jews. These other Jews who immigrated there from Europe like 100 years ago, are now trying to drive them out. Apparently because the man in the sky said so.

. The desire for self-determination can originate at any time amongst the NATIVE population. Not the colonizing ones.
More like desire for self destruction lol

We dont need Hamas for Palestinians to be free. Palestinians could be free because of improved Israeli laws, or they could be free because of a 2 state solution, or it could be a 1 state solution.
Get back to us when there is no hamas then

Post the quote, you're bullshitting again.
basketcase said:
In this fucked up world Israel has been occupying Palestine for 75 years...
And still claiming all of Israel is illegitimate. Shows what a genocidal zealot you are.
Are you arguing that an illegal occupation makes a state 'legitimate'?
How many other 'legitimate' states can't define their borders, rule through apartheid, ignore UN and UN SC resolutions and commit genocide?

Which part of that makes Israel 'legitimate'?

Wow your repeated head in the sand to defend hamas routine is boring.

1) It is absolutely illegal to build military tunnels under protected sites such as schools, hospitals, and mosques.

2) It is immoral to waste billions of dollars and millions of tonnes of building supplies on tunnels while the people Hamas is supposed to care for need charity and civilian infrastructure.

Zionism and the 75 year occupation was the start.
...
And that's the disgusting part. Palestinian leaders have been more concerned with removing the Jewish presence and like you pretend all of Israel is occupied land because they don't want Jews there so they waste their money and the lives of their people in their attempts to ethnically cleanse Jews.

The Palestinians identity is such and interesting topic, something that you have obviously never looked in to. In most simplified form, the modern Palestinian nationality developed in the '50's and 60's when both the West Bank and Gaza were Arab ruled. Before that, there is a very interesting history of combatting visions of a pan-Arab identity that the Brits supported by handing Iraq, Jordan, and Syria to the Hashemites after WWI.

And we've already discussed that while 750,000 Arabs fled the 1949 war, a million Arab Jews fled the persecution they faced during the same era. The fall of the Ottomans resulted in consolidation into nation-states. Jews made up a bit over 1% of the Ottoman Empire so why shouldn't they get a small percent of the land?

And once again, 800,000 of those million Arab Jews became Israeli and between them and indigenous Jews, over half of Israeli Jews are just as Arab as Palestinians (many of whom immigrated there from Jordan, Saudi, Egypt, Sudan... during the Zionist era).

The Kingdom of Israel existed for a total of 300 years or so in BC times. The ethnicity of the Jews that lived in the land at that time, was never European. 50% of the Israeli Jews today are European.
...
And 50% of them are Arab. How do you justify demanding 4 millions Arab Jews be ethnically cleansed (again)?

BTW. 97% of Canadians are non-indigenous residents of a colonial entity that exists because of genocide and you chose to become part of that.
