So I was at barefax and I noticed two strippers where talking most of the night not approaching any guys and by the end of the night they were complaining that the didn't make enough and were upset. I don't get the logic in that aren't you suppose to approaching customers instead of chilling on your phone, texting or talking with your friends lol.

I used to be friends with a lot of the girls. They'd come around and chat and make a general nuisance of themselves. sigh. It was the worst! 
Who am I kidding? I loved it. However, I would always take the time to remind them why they were there. I would love to have whiled away a lazy afternoon with them, drinking and talking and maybe eventually taking them upstairs. They all knew how I tended to be. I also knew that they were there to squeeze every dollar out of the day. They were welcome to come back to me, but I'd push them out whenever new money came through the door.
If the girls are more interested in their phones than filling their bank account with little green dance coupons, that's on them. If I REALLY want to, I might approach. That's not the way it usually works, but I can't make someone do their job.
They might just not be in the mood for it. I know how that goes. Believe me. It's no fun getting groped when you're down. It ends up not being fun for the customer, either.
I've known girls who did nothing but cruise the floor, asking over and over if you wanted to go. That was tiresome, but tended to work better. It was a lot of work, though. If you're young(ish) and have men throwing money at you all the time, maybe you get the mindset that it should be easier. They'll figure it out. That doesn't help you in the moment, though.

It's January. Most people are broke. Most dancers know this. Most won't go fully nude for a $20-$40 dance, which is what most guys are offering right now; and that leads to tension and conflict and drama for them. Good way for a girl to lose a regular.
They're waiting for someone with money to splash around to walk in, someone they think they can make $200+, and then they hustle.
A guy with $50 bucks in his pocket probably just came to relax, and is usually fine sitting quietly, watching the show. A guy with $600 in his pocket came there with a purpose, and even if the girls don't approach him, he'll signal to them.
So I get it. Girls aren't approaching. But trust me they've done this probably more times than us, and the know how to get paid. Whatever crazy sh*t they do, there's probably a reason.

I respect your opinion, and can only speak for myself. I’ve been visiting the bars for about 10 years. I’m fortunate in that I am able to always carry sufficient cash to be of interest to a dancer. When I do go to the private area with someone, I typically spend $300 to $400. But I’ve never signalled anyone that I don’t already know. I just prefer when someone approaches me, and is willing to show a little interest in chatting for a few minutes. That’s just me, but I find that it happens much less frequently than previously. I often leave with the same $ that I arrived with, minus the bar tab. That’s never my choice. And yes, I have wondered if it’s because I’m too old and ugly

We need more "whales" around the dance floor, the girls have a sixth sense, they can spot them like a mongoose a snake. Blokes like us with $60 bucks in their pockets sitting tight on the sidelines, content with just watching the stage dances and nursing their lone drink, are the reason the industry is dying and girls don't wanna bother hustling. I agree with Arrow1986, $20-40 dances in the CR are not going to cut it anymore, not in these days of high inflation. The MA spas presents much higher money value proposition. I was at Pigales yesterday (Friday) at around 1-2pm when it's supposed to be busy, it was almost dead, the few girls around were chatting up 1-2 dudes around the bar, none were circulating the floor like in the past.

When I used to hit the clubs, the strippers waiting on the sides were either talking to the owner/manager or waiting for regulars. The ones going from table to table were either sharks, newbies or had that whiff of desperation to them. The trick was to find the good ones and become a regular yourself. Basic rule of engagement - the ones in a hurry to go upstairs were never the good ones. They always took their time.
I was never a high roller though, I don't think I ever spent more than $60 in a trip. If that's the price of admission these days, another reason not to bother.

Honestly I think you hit the nail on the head. You expect a good trip for $60, because that's the way it's always been.

The girls either give you a good dance and then try to force you to pay at least $100; or they give you a crappy dance until song 4-5 (which also doesn't go well). They call us cheap, we call them liars, and in the end it doesn't matter because no one finished.
Look, it's like we're all going to a restaurant saying the food quality was crappy, but we also refused to pay more.
I think at the end of the day, if we want a nice selection of hot girls, approaching us, willing to give high mileage, then we have to be willing to pay what that costs. They have to make more doing that than OF, webcamming, etc.
I'm not saying pay off their mortgage, but maybe start bring $80 per girl to the club. Maybe I'm naive, but if they start consistently making more, they'll probably start giving more.

I don’t think paying more and then expecting better results is the answer….the dancers who make the effort to spend the necessary time to approach customers to find out who wishes to spend decent money will be rewarded. It’s the same for any business model….it takes a little work to get there!!!!
Since Kingston no longer has any strip bars , taking up the hobby as far as I am concerned is a better use of my monthly entertainment funds with a very good end.
Unless it closed in the last few weeks Kingston has Suits open Wed to Sat evening and some really great dancers there, nice neighbourhood bar.
