Says the guy who attempted to peddle a story about Antarctica having palm trees and conveniently leaves out the part about the history of the continent and plate tectonics.
Instead he tries to echo the bs that if climate change continues at the current rate, there could be palm trees there again in the future.
Just because you're being played doesn't mean you have to indoctrinate others.

https://www.nsf.gov/geo/opp/support/gondwana.jsp#:~:text=Some 200 million years ago, single large continent called Gondwanaland.
F**k everythig else on here. I want to know how they know that we called the old world where the countries touched each other "Gondwanaland"? Was it written on a stone tablet or something.

And if it wasnt on a tablet and it was invented by a paleontologist why would you name it that? Was he on acid? Was he trying to do Gonadland for a joke? and he mispelled it? WTF?

Also my 2 cents - we are just at the end of an ice age and I'm enjoying the weather - I havent had to put on my snow tires yet - all the snow is falling as rain and ice in the UK, and in the summer I can fry eggs with a solar oven in my backyard. Whats not to love. Oh and I also ont live by the coast - I live at the top of a hill - so dnt have to worry about flooding :)

The continent of Gondwana was named by the Austrian scientist Eduard Suess, after the region in central India of the same name, which is derived from Sanskrit for "forest of the Gonds".The name had been previously used in a geological context, first by H. B. Medlicott in 1872,[7] from which the Gondwana sedimentary sequences (Permian-Triassic) are also described.

Some scientists prefer the term "Gondwanaland" to make a clear distinction between the region and the supercontinent.

You really don't understand.
In your climate change hysteria, you shared an article that claimed palm trees used to exist in Antarctica, and you were implying the planet is getting so hot that one day palm trees can grow there again.
I showed you why evidence was found containing palm tree artifacts from Antarctica...it was due to plate tectonics from when the continent was joined to Africa/Australia and by virtue, much warmer as it was closer to the equator.

You have demonstrated perfectly of how facts are being manipulated to sway people to accept your narrative. Very misleading.

Just because you're being played doesn't mean you need to try and play others.

He reads about Geology and Plate Tectonics and all he can think about is spelling, and gonads. Hope he's Canadian and can't vote here...
Hard to decipher what you're saying here, and to who, and about what...did you start drinking early?

Did y’all receive your climate change bribe from Trudope today?
I did.
It’s the equivalent of 1.5x the Carbon tax on my natural gas bill alone last month.
Not to mention the Carbon tax I’m paying on every litre of fuel and every item of food that’s been marked up due to added carbon taxes which as we know things like this always trickle down to the end user.
I also noticed chatter the province of Saskatchewan isn’t going to collect carbon tax (not sure if that’s accurate), as well the east coasters have been excused from paying carbon tax on home heating which is interesting since Liberal gov popularity has been plummeting out there so seems like the Libs are buying votes by excusing them from paying….which means all Canadians aren’t being treated equally.
Was wondering also about why it’s so important to tax Canadians on this since we have only 40M population, and USA has almost 400M but doesn’t force carbon taxes on its citizens.
Also noticed that the largest polluters in the world do not force carbon tax on their citizens either in India or China, both of whom have much larger populations than North America combined.
Regardless of idealist or political perceptions, I’d like to believe that most people would regard this climate tax as….a complete unnecessary burden and scam.

Anyways the only logical way to spend the bribe I received today is to supplement a session with one of our city’s finest ladies.

Who is the hottest climate change denier SP??? 🔥🔥🔥
Ideally tall, long hair, Caucasian non-smoker. 🙏

It doesn't change the accuracy of saying there were palm trees in the antarctic during the Paleocene thermal maximum.
Plate tectonics doesn't account for the climate change.

Yup $122 on the 15th. That's $488 for 2023.
I estimate the amount of carbon tax alone I pay on gas to fill my car per year is $0.143 x 55L x 48 fill ups = $377.50
The amount of carbon tax paid on my Enbridge Gas bills is $386.95 for 2023
Total $764.45

When they implemented this tax they told us that 90% of if would be returned to us in credits. They lied. What a surprise. I got 63.8% returned to me. And that doesn't even include the carbon tax that is buried in the additional price of goods and services that we pay. What a fucking racket.

You didn't use the real carbon tax numbers.

Yeah sure...anything you need to say to justify paying your carbon taxes...don't let the facts get in your way.
ps you're being played.

The onset of the Paleocene–Eocene thermal maximum has been linked to volcanism and uplift associated with the North Atlantic Igneous Province, causing extreme changes in Earth's carbon cycle and a significant temperature rise.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paleocene–Eocene_Thermal_Maximum

The horizontal and vertical displacements associated with plate tectonics play a fundamental role in climate change over a wide range of timescales. The solid-earth surface is in direct contact with the atmosphere and oceans and its evolving character affects balances of incoming and outgoing radiation, atmospheric circulation, ocean currents, and the location of elevated terrain suitable for glaciers and ice sheets. Tectonic processes also have important indirect climatic effects through their control on geochemical cycling and the composition of the atmosphere and ocean

Like I've said before, this carbon tax ponzi scheme is actually brilliant as far as how it's disguised as a "feel good" tax and if anyone dare question it, they are ridiculed for not blindly accepting it.
Brilliant!

Thank you for noting that it was excessive carbon in the atmosphere that caused the thermal maximum. Whether it comes from volcanoes or humans, putting too much CO2 into the atmosphere causes the planet's climate to heat up.

Confirmed.
