That's the point, mandrill.

This is the US, UK and Canada who are teetering. The last three countries that supported South African apartheid. After their support ended so did apartheid.

Trudeau can't say he doesn't believe in the ICJ, just that he doesn't like these charges. Biden had 400,000 people show up to the WH shouting Genocide Joe, the UK is just screwed up. All three of those leaders have killed their reelection chances and after that support of Israel will be seen as political suicide.

Jill Stein said she'll run for president in 2024. She'll lose but she'll win all the youth and Muslim vote and Biden will lose.

Biden's own team is protesting him now.

The UK just had their biggest protest ever.
Jill Stein is trying to be another Ralph Nader. As I recall, I was none to thrilled with the four more years of Dubya that resulted from Ralph's shenanigans!(n)...

You wrote papers 70 years ago on the Israel Palestine issue and yet you didn't know when the declaration was issued? 😂

I don't need the wikipedia article. I was the one that corrected you.
You're the guy who claimed that there were no legal Jewish immigrants under the ottomans and Brits.

Well argued, you used stern language and a wiki link.
Very impressive.

Better than your history education found on twitter.

The Brits promised a vague Jewish Homeland in order to get support from their own and America's Jewish population. At the same time, the Brits promised an Arab state to the Hashemites from Hedjaz for their support against the Ottomans, again without specifics.

In a way they honoured both promises, giving the Hashemites, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq and allowing the Palestine Mandate to be partitioned. The fact that foreign Arabs were given control over those three countries doesn't bother you the way that Jews in Israel does.

In a way?

In a way a couple of racist Brits promised Palestinians their country back if they backed them in WWII and in a way the Brits decided to give half of it away to a bunch of foreigners instead.

I'm sure they're going to get some fireworks tonight. Centcom better hit hard so they get the message.

Yemen's Houthis hit US-owned dry bulk ship, no injuries - US Centcom

DUBAI, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Houthi forces in Yemen struck the U.S.-owned and operated dry bulk ship Gibraltar Eagle with an anti-ship ballistic missile, U.S Central Command said on Monday, although there were no reports of injuries or significant damage.
The vessel's U.S.-based operator Eagle Bulk Shipping said that it was hit by an "unidentified projectile" while sailing 100 miles off the Gulf of Aden and suffered limited damage to its cargo hold, and no seafarers were injured.

"As a result of the impact, the vessel suffered limited damage to a cargo hold but is stable and is heading out of the area," Eagle Bulk said in a statement, adding that it was carrying a cargo of steel products.
The Iran-backed Houthis who control most of Yemen's Red Sea coast have been attacking commercial ships in the area they say are linked to Israel or bound for Israeli ports, in action they claim is aimed at supporting the Palestinians in the war and Hamas in Gaza.

U.S. and British forces responded last week by carrying out dozens of air and sea strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen.
Earlier in the day British Maritime Security firm Ambrey said that a Marshall Islands-flagged, U.S.-owned bulk carrier was reportedly struck by a missile while transiting near Yemen's port of Aden.
The vessel was assessed not to be Israel-affiliated, according to Ambrey, which also assessed the attack to have targeted U.S. interests in response to the recent strikes on Houthi military positions.

The latest attack suggests that despite the U.S. strikes, the Houthis appear undeterred.
Later on Monday an explosion was heard near Yemen's Hodeidah airport, residents reported. Hodeidah is some distance from Aden, however, and it was not immediately clear what had caused the blast.
The Houthis, who control the capital Sanaa and much of the west and north of Yemen, have vowed to continue attacks in the Red Sea since the U.S and British strikes.

The group's leader, Abdel-Malek al-Houthi, said on Thursday in a televised speech that any U.S. attack on Yemen would not go without a response.
The U.S. military said on Sunday a U.S. fighter jet shot down an anti-ship cruise missile that the Houthis fired towards the USS Laboon in the southern Red Sea.

Frankie, it was World War One. And the promise was made to the Saudis. And the Palestinians never had a country, let alone a country they should "get back". The last time that the Arabs ran Palestine was at the time of Salah-Ad-Din in the 1100's. Before the Turks took over.

And the Brits weren't "racist". Or - if anything - most Brits at the time were probably racist against the Jews.

And given that there were 900,000 Arabs in a territory that today has 12M people, sounds like there was a lot of land to share back in 1916.

Try and get a fact right here and there, in between screaming that anyone who doesn't agree with you is a "racist colonialist". Others would think more highly of you.

He reversed that they were terrorist earlier, but came to his senses now.

Biden says Yemen's Houthis are a 'terrorist' group

EMMAUS, Pennsylvania, Jan 12 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday called Yemen's Houthi forces a "terrorist" group, after American and British warplanes, ships and submarines launched dozens of air strikes across Yemen overnight.

Biden said Washington will respond to the Houthis if they continued behavior that he called "outrageous."

London and Washington say their strikes in Yemen were in retaliation for months of attacks by the movement on Red Sea shipping that the Iran-backed fighters cast as a response to the ongoing war in Gaza. The strikes represent one of the most dramatic demonstrations to date of the widening of the Gaza conflict.

I think they are," Biden told reporters on Friday when he was asked if he was willing to call the Houthis a "terrorist" group.
"We will make sure that we respond to the Houthis if they continue this outrageous behavior along with our allies," he added.

The White House said earlier on Friday the United States does not want war with Yemen but will not hesitate to take further action.

"It's irrelevant whether they're designated (as terrorists). We've put together a group of nations (that) are going to say that if they continue to act and behave as they do, we'll respond," Biden told reporters.
The Houthis, an Iran-backed armed movement that took control of most of Yemen over the past decade, have been attacking shipping at the mouth of the Red Sea - one of the world's busiest trade lanes - since October. The attacks have forced shippers to change course and take longer routes.

The Houthis say their attacks have been a show of support for Palestinians under siege by Israel in Hamas-governed Gaza.

The Gaza conflict followed an attack on Israel on Oct. 7 by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, which Israel said killed 1,200 people. Israel's subsequent assault on Gaza has killed more than 23,000 Palestinians, about 1% of the 2.3 million population there, according to Gaza's health ministry.

You seem to miss a couple of points.

1. The hooters are attacking neutral ships and committing acts of war. It's a matter of time before they kill people.
2. The Suez Canal blockade is going to start creating serious havoc with European and North American industry.

You can minimize that. But again, it's an act of war. So it has to be met with an appropriate response.

Everything I said was correct, goebbels.
For an old person you appear to have forgotten all your history.

So Frankie. This is the Wiki article on the Balfour Dec and the establishment of the JEwish Homeland.

Read it through - I know you won't because you really don't care about the facts, as long as you get to call me a "nazi". Everything I said to you above is true. And everything you claimed is wrong.

Try and argue like a grown-up. Be careful with the facts and don't lose your temper.

They were attacking just ships heading to Israel.
That's a boycott like Israel's 'blockade' of Gaza. Don't tell me one is legal and one isn't.

Yes, now that the US, UK and Canada have joined the Houthis are targeting them as well.
Stupid.

There's an easy solution.
Stop the fucking genocide.
Ceasefire.

It was a blockade of Israel, which was an act of war against Israel.
Then USA and UK bombed the Houties. I would call that an act of war against the Houties.

They were attacking all ships heading to the Suez Canal, had no idea which were going to Israel or not and gave no shit anyway.
