Consider checking your clothing for airtags.

Just had a bad encounter.

And when I got out, the first thing I thought of was.. airtags, so I checked and double checked.

Last thing any of us is someone showing up at the door, and being like hey, give us some money.

Reality is not a movie. I doubt any scammer/SP will be that interested enough in a client they take the time to devise a plan to stalk and extort money from them. Then again, there are many obnoxiously obsessive people in this world so good tip nevertheless. I just think it’s a bit fetched for something like this to happened.

That and the air tags are used to track women, namely single and young. Nothing to stop them to start using on the other side as well.

Attaching Airtags to high-end vehicles in parking lots is one way car thieves locate a persons home. Someone may try this for a shake-down later but its easier to hide an Airtag on a vehicle than on someone's clothes.

I am pretty sure if you have an iphone. It can alert you to the presence of air tags

It does. Same with airpods if they are close. Worked for Apple got many of calls like that
