I'm going to respond, because I agree to a certain extent.
First of all, we don't know what threads are more useful than others. Most "interesting" threads get a few thousand views and only a couple dozen replies, so that's not a reliable metrics to gauge any kind of usefulness.
@LC18 made very reasonable observations, in her experience, and shared it with an audience. There's value in it and perhaps some silent participants may learn from it.
I'd agree that most vocal TERB participants likely have enough experience to navigate SP world and wouldn't require additional instructions, but they're not the majority.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. We should be civilized enough to be able to discuss it and not dismiss it, regardless of our initial feelings.
Recently spoke to an SP who is also a very good friend and we talked about this very issue. Hygiene is still a big issue.

The board is full of pointless threads and pointless fights especially in the poltiics forum. The same group of a few guys go back and forth for pages on pages, which spills over everywhere.
Take a pill and relax. I'm not putting you on ignore as I have nothing against and quite like your post. Having truthful honest SP's with good attitudes on this site is quite welcome and refreshing. I can't recall any of your other "interventions". My point was simple. My feeling is that the guys on this particular forum aren't the ones that are checking box's 1-6 so my personal opinion is your not reaching anyone with the thread. Que the jackass's that going to come in again say "we don't know that who's reading this". I get that, and I'll say it again. Most of the guys on this board are well behaved, well mannered and probably don't need advice on "how to be a good client". The few that aren't, are probably jerks that aren't going to take your advice anyway. Keep posting these threads if you really think your getting though to people. I don't think your posts are "helping at least one person".
And, you called out the OP for making a so-called pointless thread. Yet most of the threads on here could also be considered pointless including reviews because they lack details, overly positive / negative, etc. I don't see you calling those ones out. It's fine if this or the majority of posts on here are pointless to you, but someone may get some value from them.
Besides, the ladies are paying to advertise on this site and are keeping it going. That gives them more leeway to share their opinions. It's 100% free for everyone else so we should be able to put up with some pointless threads. Since you have strong feelings about pointless threads then you should become an admin. You already have 17 years of experience and have the pulse of this board.

Considering the amount of whining I see from this board's members about rates, deposits and even showering, it really doesn't surprise me that a couple of the points on Lena's initial post have triggered a few of them.
It's like I always say, her rates don't fit her budget and you aren't comfortable with paying a deposit? Move on and see someone whose rates do fit your budget and who doesn't ask for a deposit, or whose deposit you're comfortable with. Just because you got ripped off because you responded to a questionable LeoList ad that anyone with an iota of common sense would have realized was a scam doesn't mean that every provider who asks for one is looking to do the same. Maybe stop dumpster diving on LeoList because you're on a fruitless quest for a "hidden gem".

Not at all, but the chances of running into a scam are greater on LL. It used to be good and now it’s like finding a needle in a haystack.
Most people also do not take the time to research phone numbers and names, they get too excited by the good deals.
I have a lot of friends that advertise on LL but they also use at least another website. That allows client to cross check and make sure they’re legit at least.

I think it helps to discuss this, or at least remind folks. Too many blokes think because they paid they can do anything and fail to take account of the fact she's a human being with her own thoughts and feelings. I've heard my share of horror stories from the ladies. It's quite clear the more respectful and clean, the more she can relax which means it will better for the client. Btw, that applies in almost any customer service situation. Not rocket science.

Ultimately, commenting on threads and expressing your opinions is part of the nature of online forums. "Pointless" may not have even been the right word. I just meant that I don't think she's reaching her target audience posting this here. In fact, I don't think she's reaching anyone at all. If she think she is, she's free to keep posting all she wants, but I just think she's wasting her time. If there was an online forum where all the respected reputable escorts hung out just to chat, I wouldn't start a thread telling them "how to be a good escort". I would be preaching to the choir. If there was a way for me to reach some of the bottom feeding scamming misfits on LL that possibly lurk on other platforms, might be worth posting something a message like that on those platforms. Anyway, seeing as you find this thread so helpful, I'll move on and let you ingest all the amazing pointers your getting from it.
