Hamas needs and thrives on dead Palestinian civilians, children etc. They need death to mobilize support for them and antipathy to Israel. Do you think that the protests happening now all over the world would be happening without that death. Hamas has been firing rockets at civilians for years and in spite of that saw support slipping away. They needed a big event and a bigger response and they got it. Just look at the glee of gryphon and katalulya. Sad.
You nailed it. Hamas would be gleefully happy to see all their citizens dead and martyred if lead to the downfall of the Israeli state and the Far right conservative jews have the same mindset.

I keep asking him, where is the logic in refusing to call for Hamas to surrender and release the hostages because that is the absolutely fastest way to stop the deaths of Palestinians which he (falsely) claims is his priority.
