CPI data coming in on Tuesday, followed by PPI and Fed decision the next day. If all goes well, it could amplify the Santa Claus rally, finishing the year off very strong. If not, well, then back to bad times.

Now waiting for Santa Clause rally. Looks good.
Great PPI, okay CPI, dovish Powell. Looks very good. Next couple weeks should be strong, and next year should be very good! Finally some good news, and a Christmas present from the fed.

Yes remember Trump said Biden would crash the stock market.

Trump says a lot of things. He's a stupid psychopath.....
Yes true. But the Fox crew often seems to have the memories of goldfish and thus instantly forget all the extraordinary disaster stuff Trump promised would happen if Biden was elected. Thus good to remind folks.

Looks like the hedge funds are taking money out of the Magnficent 7. Normally, they'd be up huge now, along with the indexes.

Right now riskier assets are doing very well.

Norwegian Cruise lines up almost 8%. 70% year to date.

I have done real well with REITS. But i am kicking myself for selling SU and CNQ. Fully invested so no dry powder to buy back oil and natural gas stocks. GLTA.

It doesn't look like energy stocks are doing particularly well. No need to kick yourself. :)

How can anyone ignore SRU.UN at 9% yield in Oct same SIA, SGR.UN? I am income investor as I did my homework as interest rate will be coming down in 2024 .

Sustainability of the yield? Steady run rate business for Malls/others than SRU participates in etc.. ? Lots of reasons to be distrustful. That being said, I haven't sold my SRU.

congratulations to those who stayed in the market, esp if they continued to buy in 2022 and 2023.

the bears have been caught flat footed and missed a fantastic year in the markets. many called for lower each year (from 2020) and again postponing doomsday for next year. eventually they'll be right, but as Peter Lynch said:

"More Money Has Been Lost Waiting for Corrections Than in Them"
