There is a definite Conservative wind blowing in Europe, Canada and US which pays into the hands of Putin in terms of annexing the Ukraine especially if Trump wins.
However, Muslim fertility rates and reproductive are very high in many European countries which will soon become a political force in another generation or two
Tell that to Boris Johnston, Balsonaro and rump.

The migrant issue is a never-ending rightie weapon. It caused Brexit and - ridiculously - the current set of Tories seem now to be claiming that they are "unable to stem the tide of migrants" - despite having an absolute majority in the House - i.e. they can pass absolutely whatever legislation they want anytime they wish to. They will do fuck all and crank up the "brown scare" as an election platform.

Fact is - No far right party will do anything about immigration because they use it as a boogeyman at election time. The GOP could redraft the USA's immigration laws tomorrow if they wanted. But why tf throw away all the juicy bullshit scare on Fox News!?!?!?!

23.6% of the vote and 37 seats out of 150. A surge, but hardly a crushing victory.

If you look at the other groups, it might be difficult for him to make a governing coalition.
The other two parties that seem to have gained a bit are the green/leftist party and the completely new NSC.
It looks like it is going to be complicated to stitch together something functional.

He needs 76 votes for a (slim) majority and has 37. So he needs 39 seats from other parties for the coalition.

They're not called votes, they are called seats (zetels)
