in short, it's faster (higher throughput), more energy efficient , and there are more "applications." stablecoins ? you're on eth. metaverse ? eth. meme coins ? eth. rugpulls? eth . NFTs? eth.
I bet someone is gonna come here commenting how none of that stuff is practical and useful (but I'd argue stablecoins are). but , I don't care anyway because it's all about price performance to me.
as you said, you're here to dabble and thus gamble a bit of money , so all you really care about is price performance like myself .
eth is a naturally leveraged position on Bitcoin, so it essentially has a higher beta. definitely a more attractive ROI than Bitcoin, which I'd argue isn't attractive anymore in terms of crypto returns.
and if a spot BTC ETF gets approved in the US (looks like it will ), only a matter of time an eth ETF gets approved, too.
