so... if a million Palestinian civilians, women and children die ( that would be a thousand to one), it's still all Hamas' fault? You can't kill your way to peace.
If HAMAS uses them as a human shield, sure.

Let's see how it plays out.

You forgot to add that Israel was secretly diverting Palestinian tax revenue to Arafat‘s secret Bank Leumi accounts in Israel.
and you forgot to mention...
And of course Arafat gave it all back to his people. lol. He died a Swiss bank account billionaire.

Thanks to a corrupt Israeli government secretly stealing Palestinian tax revenues. Imagine that, the Israeli government secretly stealing Palestinian tax revenue and giving to a person they were publicly proclaiming was a terrorist.

LOL. What are you smoking? Israel made it's fortune stealing Palestinian tax revenues while sharing it with Arafat. LOL. sounds like George Soros is at the bottom of this conspiracy.

I sympathize with both perspectives; like many political issues, this seems unending. It strikes me as hypocritical that there's unwavering backing for a nation engaged in military occupation in another country.

Mensa material you are not.

“The stockpile went well beyond the portfolio. Arafat accumulated another $1 billion with the help of -- of all people -- the Israelis. Under the Oslo Accords, it was agreed that Israel would collect sales taxes on goods purchased by Palestinians and transfer those funds to the Palestinian treasury. But instead, Indyk says, "that money is transferred to Yasser Arafat to, amongst other places, bank accounts which he maintains off-line in Israel."

Until three years ago, Israel put the tax revenues into Arafat's account at Bank Leumi in downtown Tel Aviv, no questions asked. But why?

According to Indyk, "The Israelis came to us and said, basically, 'Arafat's job is to clean up Gaza. It's going to be a difficult job. He needs walking-around money,' because the assumption was that he would use it to get control of all of these terrorists who'd been operating in these areas for decades”

Israel have no intention of turning Gaza into rubble....until Hamas attacked.. notice how even there are still buildings standing in Gaza?

A heated debate and YES on FOX. Disregard Sean's ridiculous political spin against the left.

"Powerful"??!?!?!?!?!

A couple hundred hippies at a music festival?!?!?!

Let's see what happens. Your "expertise" in Ukraine has been pretty sad and off base. The HAMAS "army" is untrained, undisciplined militia. Probably with limited heavy weapons and tech and primitive tactics. I'm betting they're going to get massacred like your Russians are currently getting outside Avdiivka.
I don't think you can compare fighting in an open field/village vs fighting in a city landscape like gaza where they booby trapped very passage and shoot from every window. You'd literally have to destroy and flatten the city to take it. And then there are tunnels.

Well, easier said than done.
Life is not easy, but also not impossible. Hopefully, military defeat isn't the only way for a society to transition from evil leadership, although that proved to be necessary in WWII. Maybe it will be necessary again in Gaza.

Yes, the urban areas of Gaza may have to be flattened if Hamas does not surrender unconditionally.

At some point citizens must bear the burdens thrust upon them by the leadership they choose. German and Japanese civilians suffered this fate in WWII. The lesson is - stop supporting evil leadership.
Do you think that logic was at work during the Hamas attack?
