As title says. I'm looking for a day use hotel that will accept cash or prepaid cards. Not looking to have a paper trail on my credit card statement. Let me know if anyone knows of any in Toronto area.

Pretty much impossible. Maybe a few fleabags, but nowhere decent. Hotels want a CC and ID for theft, damage etc. Anyone insisting on cash its assumed you want it for nefarious activity.

Hiding from the wife? Open a new account at a new bank. And a new CC with it. Use the excuse of a better rate on a GIC if you like if the question comes up. And no paper billing but to a seperate email account. It may take a bit to sort it out but worth it in the long run.

But really I have my own money, CC and accounts that my wife has no access too. I don't see why there is a problem with this.

Back in the day, there were a ton of Motels on Kingston road in Scarborough, they would always take cash, your best bet is to find a Motel, hotels want your ID and credit card.

I’ve mentioned this before too but I’ll repeat. Cash at hotels is pretty much non existent now for the reasons stated above.

The only prepaid card that I know will work is the Canada Post Cash Passport. I’ve used it several places with no problem. It saves having to go through a bank for a CC. Get it at a CP outlet and register it, load it using pooning cash whenever you need to, and there are some fees involved, but no one else needs to know about it.

Most hotels will accept cash as payment, but need a cc for damages, mini bar etc. They will put a hold on your card for a certain amount. I’m not sure if that will appear on a statement.

Just went to the post office to get one but they required a piece of ID with address on it. It says they it's only online statements. Have you gotten anything paper? Did you need to show ID when getting a card?

You will still need to show ID to the front desk. They will have a record of your stay.

I wonder why would you need hotel room if most girls can host or fuck in incalls/massages? I would understand if that's for a a secret girlfriend, but not for an SP...

Some SP's are outcall only. You can also connect well with an incall SP who wants to see you privately but requests you host.

Years ago the White Knight at Dixie and Derry in Mississauga used to accept cash. No idea if they still do.

You will need ID to get one and register it but there are no statements, just online access. And it’s not a CC so it won’t show up on credit reports etc…

You will have to show ID to check into a hotel now, no getting around it.

You could open an online bank account / credit card (Tangerine or Wise). Easy set-up process. Transactions are tied to you, so are not anonymous, but are private to YOU. So as long as you're not spending on illegal activities, nobody needs to know what you're spending on.

Worked perfectly! Thank you for the tip! Just for the other guys out there. I booked a hotel using dayuse.com and used the cash passport. Super easy process. As long as there's no statements coming to my address, this process is as easy as it gets.

My pleasure, glad it worked. I’m in the same situation as you and use it for day hotels to meet a sugar girl. I’ve used it on Day use for several hotels and it works fine. I’ve never had any mail from them, statements or promotional.

One more tip. Make sure you keep a good balance on it because some hotels take a pretty big pre-auth for the rate and damage deposit. The hotel should tell you how much they are putting on it but you don’t want it declined when you’re checking in. I make a habit of keeping it above $400 just to be safe.

Happy sugaring!!

I've never tried paying cash/deposits for hotels in Toronto but I've done it in cities all over Canada from Kelowna, Calgary, West end of the GTA to Montreal with no issue. All in the last year.

Interesting. What chains are you using? and have you found a way to book something without a CC?

I usually call to arrange it. The chains vary and they aren't 4 star hotels. I usually check in take a nap, eat, get ready for the session and head out. Sometimes I do book online but pay cash when I arrive. As far as I can remember I've never had an issue and the hotel that I have done it that I can remember are Super 8, Quality, Comfort Inn. I generally have 1 in every city that I visit. Generally as long as the hotel isn't in the DT core it's doable.
