Yes, I don’t like women with ink. It seems people with lots of ink on body have self esteem issue.

Bullshit. Some of the most intelligent, confident and beautiful women out there also happen to enjoy having a lot of tattoos. What a douchey thing to say. Don't like tattoos? All the power to you. Suggest tattoo's means self-esteem issues? You're attempting to validate your judgement of them with such an idiotic statement.

It's the same as every other body feature.
Some guys like tall women , some like short.
Some don't like smokers.
Some guys like Asian or Black or white women.
Some guys like athletic builds while others like BBW.
It's all personal preference.
Don't understand why you get all worked up about it.
I definitely see where you are coming from, and agree it's normal to have preferences- I just feel like this one is often rooted in something deeper. This medium article (free membership paywall) might say it better than I can. https://medium.com/athena-talks/im-a-woman-with-tattoos-and-i-ve-heard-it-all-before-7edf91e36ca3.

I guess I wonder if this would be a thread if it was about a body feature you don't have control of.. Like would people really find it appropriate to say they are turned off by something like skin colour or eye colour? I think that's the sort of thing that most people would keep to themselves. Perhaps it's the choice factor around getting a tattoo that makes talking about how they "are a turn off" for some sound like a judgement, and in particular, a judgement on women. But ultimately I agree- people can like what they like, not everybody needs to be attracted to the same things.

I must be getting old I have noticed a lot of women with tattoos not small ones but all over their bodies. i cannot get turned on by a woman with any ink on them am I the only odd ball ?
I'm so curious- are there connotations that it brings up for you or something like that? And if so what are they? Or does it remind you of someone you actively dislike? Have you experienced this with other physical features? Has there ever been someone you thought was hot, but then your opinion changed after they got a tattoo?

I've spent my life lusting after bare skin. The more the better. Looking , or perhaps hoping to see just a bit more under that short skirt, or hoping perhaps a girl jumping into a pool might just lose her bikini top. Perhaps a drop of water when sunbathing 'with their tops undone...oh boy that means a little bit of fun' as Honeymoon Suite sang a million years ago in the mid-80s.

Tattoos are just another thing covering up that lovely skin,.

That’s all it is, is an observation.
To me, anyways not a whole lot of difference. Other than one is by choice, the other more a “beauty” standard forced on women by society.

Sure....But a subtle tattoo vs a sleeve ,or giant chest piece , or thigh covering are , different animals too, right?

I would suggest many young women have played right into the tattoo fad , just like make-up. (of course the make-up washes off)

A lot of people, of all ages and genders, are getting multiple tattoos, for several reasons: a fashion statement, self expression, or they simply think that it looks cool or makes them look cool. It's a growing trend and is not slowing down. There are dozens of tattoo studios everywhere. They are probably going to be increasingly more acceptable in the workplace, too. Like it or not, you will have to get used to them.

Agreed. Also kind of like makeup. Some women just a wee bit, others caked on. Some are really good applying that it completely changes their appearance. And we all have different taste there too.

My taste I really do like them all. Inked and non inked. But I absolutely get turned on by women with confidence. Whether that’s the confidence to walk into a meeting and own it, or wear visible ink or the SPs that post here, and more. . I love people, especially women, that are comfortable in their own skin, with who they are.

Not a fan of face/neck, head ink. Though I’ve met one SP, where it suited her personality so it didn’t detract. I don’t mind sleeves as long as they aren’t a hot mess, I love leg tats, especially thighs. Back work too if it’s artistic.

At my workplace, I would guess about 30% of the younger females have visible ink.

Most of the fem pornstars have them. Many are sort of trademark. There are excesses, such as Sarah Vandella...

Wow, this thread bought out many opinions. To me, I prefer no tats, sleeves are disgusting but we have to have women on here going off on women's rights, her body, her choice etc. To them I say fuck off, no one is denying choice, it is about preference. I find most short haired women unattractive, just my opinion, nothing about her choice.
As men we dam well have rights too. To express opinion is one of them, to have preferences is another, tired of these fucking fem wokies turning everything into rights and some how your preference puts down women. I am sure they like or dislike all kinds of physical attributes about men, but then that is not judgement (right wokies) hmmmmmmmm

Stand up gentlemen, we are entitled to a voice!

In principle I should have no problems being attracted to women with tats but unfortunately I find them distracting and not in a good way.

From a distance people with many larger tats kind of look like they've rolled around in the mud and need a wash.

Having said that, these days it's abnormal to see a younger person without one. You kind of expect it.

I fear down the road skin cancer rates are going to soar because of this. Hope I'm wrong.
