How far apart are the Wolverines and the Spartans? And what is the deciding factor in making someone choose to support one or the other?
U of Mich(Ann Arbor) and MSU(E. Lansing) are about 60 miles apart. U of M is closer to metro Detroit and is a much older and prestigious school. If someone doesn't have a connection to either school, I guess it just comes down to personal preference. The fan ratio here is probably similar to the Yankees and Mets fanbase ratio in New York, Mich=Yankees, MSU=Mets.
I actually don't hate the Spartans and root for them, except when they play Michigan, then I want Mich to crush them!

That would be sweet, because I still have nightmares from their last two playoff games.

One factor going against Michigan this year is the easy schedule, playing a lot of bad teams doesn't prepare you for really good teams. The B1G is pretty weak this year and this Michigan's non-conference schedule, E. Carolina, UNLV and Bowling Green...cupcake city. They really have only two good games on schedule this year, Penn St and Ohio St.

Michigan/Penn St projected to go 10-2, Ohio State 9-3 . . . Florida St, Georgia and Texas to 11-1 ? I know these are just computer simulations . . . Nobody is picked to run the table this year . . .

I think they mean Florida State, besides Mich(Go Blue!) I am rooting for Texas and FSU. So Tired of the SEC dominance and arrogance!! My ideal four playoff teams would be Michigan, Texas, USC and FSU or N. Dame.

That would be a good final 4, but fuck ND.

The top 3 passing QBs are all from the soon to be disbanded Pac 12. Go figure
I know right, things are looking up for the PAC-12, but now it's gone, so sad!

By the way, UCLA has young QB from Detroit that could be one to watch. He turned down Michigan, ND and original committed to Oregon, but then switched to UCLA.

How about Boston College taking 17 penalties for 132 yards as they lose by 2 points to Florida State…talk about giving away the game.

Actually 18 penalties. BC committed its 18th penalty of the game — a face mask after a third-down stop that would have forced FSU to punt with about 2 minutes remaining

I have to have small action while watching the NCAA Saturday action. Take the dog points and if you're lucky during the games, you will be covering your bets, just hit Cash Out and take small profits . . .

Ball on Colorado 2 yard line trailing 28-20 to Colorado State with 2.06 minutes to go. Shedeur Sanders marched his team 98 yards to score and then converted 2-pointer to tie and send the game to overtime where Colorado prevailed 43-35. Performance for the ages considering how Colorado State coach dissed his dad before the match. And Shilo, the other son of Deion who is a safety, had a pick 6.

I am not a fan of the hat and glasses and all the hoopla. But that's Deion. He gets away with that sh*t because he wins. I thought he was going to get his comeuppance but his team overcame and are now 3-0 after going 1-11 last year.

Now, Boulder, Colorado has become a destination. Even the "exuberant" Kawhi Leonard showed up for the match :ROFLMAO:
