Definite no to Daddy, for the reasons previously stated. Saying my name is cool, or I've been called babe, which I like too!
Babe fits, he crossed home plate numerous times throughout his career.

A friend sent me a screenshot of a tinder profile and the bio said something along the lines of “Please don’t call me daddy, my 3 year old calls me that”

That made me ask myself, do men even like being called daddy? (daddy or papi)

If not, what do you liked to be called?

Ladies, do you like being called mami? If not, what do you prefer?

Personally I don’t like being called mami because in French that’s a grandma. I like being called Lena (boring), good girl (so original) and other names if I’ve given you the permission.
I will blow a wad in a second if I hear Daddy.

its taboo and thats why it pushes me over the edge. like anything the more you do or hear something, it tends to become less exciting.

Not keen on daddy, or "my king" or papi. Hun/babe better, but still not preferred.

Adored regs get simple nicknames, like Kimmie for Kimberly or Mel for a Melissa. Means "you're OK" to my working class roots. I reckon it's not their real name so why not. Better than "you" or "babe".

Once a now retired reg and I decided to grab lunch after a session and out of the building one of her neighbours blurted out her real name "oh hi Jane!" (Lets just say jane for the purpose of the story, not her real name). So I assured her that I promise I won't call her by her real name "Ismeralda" (not Jane lol) ...and then that's what I ended up calling her, which then turned into just Issie...

Lena might come out "Leaner" or "Lainer" w the accent..

It works better with a link, especially when you bastardized the line. Great song though...

I didn't bastardize anything..I didn't want anyone to call ME sue!
Take it in context dude
It was a comedic reference!!

I like being called daddy, but it needs to be negotiated first. I recently discovered the Spanish variant "papi chulo" which I also like.

Never been a fan of the "daddy" reference. I've gotten that more than a few times in txts, so I never respond or say I'm not interested.

So if you email or text a girl to book and she replies with “hey daddy” it’s over?

Pretty much yes. I always txt respectfully using the SPs name and requesting rates & restrictions. When the first & only response I get is "Hey daddy" and nothing else I can't be bothered. They may txt "Hey daddy what can I do for you", I shake my head thinking WTF, can't you read? Beside, I'm not their "daddy".
If they didn't read my first txt, why waste my time because that usually means it IS a waste of my time.

Being called Daddy is creepy af, IMO. Papi is no better, especially once you find out that sexual abuse in Latin America most often comes from within the family first.

Don’t quite understand why anyone would be turned on by it, even if approximately same age.

But too each their own.
Ive asked this question on merb, terb and perb and the answer seems to be “because it’s taboo”.

I guess I can understand that a wee bit. Kind of like toys were taboo for the longest time, even today bondage is misunderstood and taboo.

But the implication and connotation is unavoidable. That’s where at least for me, I can’t wrap my brain around the sexual turn on.
