He is very image conscious and knowing he had to have a mug shot has probably been practicing for days if not weeks.
That mug shot should be on the white house wall of paintings next to Obama.
The weight thing is possibly the most interesting part of it to me. I am 225…. And Trump has at least 40 pounds on me. It does not take a rocket scientist to see he is overweight… he clearly “lied”…. And used influence to manipulate… And MAGA just goes along with it.

Anyone can be lied to but when you are continually demonstrably lied to and you continually have to explain what he really means or rationalize or deny or whatever you know that you no longer have a political party but rather a cult of personality.
One of the important ways you maintain control of people is by lying to them in obvious ways.
If they refuse to contradict an obvious lie, you know they are loyal.
Trump lies constantly in obvious ways because it proves he can get away with it and forces people who might pretend to themselves that "they are using Trump, not the other way around" to debase themselves and show themselves to be subservient.
Also, as a general trend, if you are someone who uses lies all the time, it is in your benefit to convince people that the truth is unimportant and no one should care about it.
That also makes it easier to control people, since if the truth doesn't matter and everyone knows it, then people can't undermine you by pointing out the "truth" because that is a stupid concept anyway.
I don't know how far looking like a batman villain can take you.
