This is for the people who did NOT watch tonight's Blue Jay game or watch Sportsnet afterwards(all 5 of you).

1) Who are the 4 players in Blue Jay history that hit a home run in their first at bat?

2) In 1998 Joe Siddall hit his only home run in his MLB career. Unfortunately, the visiting centerfielder threw the ball back into the crowd, not knowing it's significance. Who was the outfielder?

First question correctly answered by onomatopoeia.
The answer to the second question is Ken Griffet Jr.

According to Siddell, his homer hit the outfield facade at Tiger stadium and bounced back onto the field. Griffey Jr., unaware of the fact it was Siddell's first home run, picked up the ball and threw ir back into the outfield stands to give a fan a souvenier. Tiger stadium staff tracked down the fan who got the ball and started to negotiate with him. It turns out the fan wanted some memoribilia signed by Griffey Jr. himself in order to give up the ball. Griffey Jr. complied with the request. Siddell said he and Griffey haven't spoken about the incident since it happened, and Griffey Jr. still might not be aware of the story.

1) Which Toronto Blue Jay holds the franchise record for being hit by a pitch the most in a career as a Blue Jay?

2) Which Toronto Blue Jay holds the franchise record for being hit by a pitch the most in a season?

The second question was answered correctly by onomatopoedia
The answer to the first question is Carlos Delado.

I thought for sure someone would get the first question, but not the second. Instead, it was the other way around.

Name the last two NHL trades that involve two 100+ point scorers being traded for each other. Both were 100+ point scorers in the full NHL season that immediately preceeded the trade.

One answer given by K Douglas.
The second answer is the Gretzky to L.A. trade in the summer of 1988 that saw Jimmy Carson go the other way to Edmonton.

This past week was the 35th anniversary(yikes!) of the trade. On TSN's Overdrive this week, Gord Miller told a cute story about the trade. TSN had received some rumours about a possible trade, so they sent Miller to L.A. to see what he could find out. Miller was young at the time(early 20's), and as such had a low credit limit on his credit card. Eventually, he only had enough to cover one more day at his hotel room because the negotiations were dragging on longer than expected. As he was at the hotel front desk discussing his problem with hotel staff. Gretzky happened to be walking by and stopped to see what was going on. Miller said Gretkty reached into his pocket and pulled out $500 to give to Miller to help him out. Miller told his bisses at TSN, and they were quick to send Miller the money via Western Union to repay Gretzky. Class act.

Many people are touting Jimmy Key for the next inductee to the Blue Jay level of excellence. Key never won a Cy Young award, but he finished second two times. Which two pitchers finished first in the years he was runner up?

One correct answer from unassuming.

With the unfortunate passing of both Borje Salming and Bobby Baun this year, name the two Toronto Maple Leafs that wore the number 21 in between Baun and Salming.
