the only thing missing in women's football are their first touches. The often bounces on them to the opponent. Other then that their vision of the game is amazing.
Great to see one of the co-hosts in the SF, especially the impact reverberating throughout Australia. Rugby, Australian Rules Football, cricket, swimming. These are the sports predominant in Australia. Soccer barely registers on the radar. The WWC is changing that negligence. Watching women's soccer for the very first time and prior to the finals, I have to admit, teams like CAN, USA or GER cannot compete at the levels of : ESP, ENG, AUS, NED, FRA or SWE . . . I called ENG vs ESP for the finals and I'm leaning ESP ! Kudos to one sharp TERB member who noticed I filled in the wrong tournament bracket.
