I saw an interview with Vivek on CNN last night. The way he defended dumb Donald, it sure seems like he's wants to apart of the orange clown's cabinet.

I agree he doesn't have machinery now.
But remember DeSantis only has that because he was supposed to be "Trump without the baggage". A way for the big money to move away from Trump's personal issues but keep the base happy.
DeSantis turns out to be shit at that.
Vek seems to be gaining some traction with the base while being better on camera and in campaign mode.
So like I said, if he does well at the debates and the base likes him, I can see the big money GOP people, their machinery (plus the legacy media) will all throw their weight behind him.
If that happens, it is up to him to ride that and not fuck it up like DeSantis did.
If he gets real numbers, he might switch to going after Trump directly.
Until then, he is smart enough to just position himself for 2028 - either as the great new hope or as taking up the torch. (Depending on if Trump wins in 2024.)
I think Vivek would like that, but I think dumb Donald wants a female VP. There's no way in Hell Pence will even be considered, he is mostly hated in MAGA world.

Rather than persuade younger voters, the candidate would just disenfranchise the vast majority of them.
