I have to admit I watch too many sports, but have never watched a women's soccer game till the start of WC 2023. . . .Note to self: must pay more attention to women's soccer :love: and less attention to TERB thread paper tiger fights ! ( the rants are disguised but it's mostly guys comparing c*** size ! ) :ROFLMAO:

Janine had tough shoes to fill, she replaced Melissa Tancredi. Melissa played like she was related to Zlatan, Janine is more of an opportunist. She's also become a very good play-maker.

Spain vs Sweden in SF. Didnt pick either team to go this far.

Picked Japan to make the final but they were humbled by dark horse Sweden today 1-2. For the first 65 minutes, Japan had no idea what they were doing. Only after Sweden went up 2-0 did they show some life. Then they missed a penalty and by the time they scored, it was too little too late.

Without checking the stats, I think Japan had 15% of possession time. Come on, that wait for that perfect shot NHL PP method doesn't work in world soccer. Have to put shots on the net. Their too cute five foot passes always got intercepted. Let's go Spain !
