I am aware of all sorts of crimes, so what?Right but you are aware that in the past blacks were strung up, had their balls cut off, and brutalized before a cheering crowd before they were hung to death. Don't you?
So with that history in mind, which was as recent as 1981, unless you are racist yourself and are intentionally insensitive to those injustices, how do you not see racially motivated murders as more problematic?
There is also the fact that regular crime, is targeted towards particular individuals who are victims, but hate crimes are targeted at a demographic group, which also makes it a bigger problem.
I don't see it as worthy of any separate classification, so no I don't see classifying all murders as just plain murders, problematic at all.
No, it doesn't make it a bigger problem, each murder is the death of an individual and the perpetrator should be charged with murder.
