It's gotten to the point they are ruining entire cities. The snowflakes think they can save everyone. They need to only give 1 drug related medical call per person per year. Ban the use of naloxone. How can we let them ruin civilization? Give help to the 15% that actually need it.

I know london ontario is a mess. I know many cities are now.

Well, they could start by losing weight.

The poor and unfortunate are always a blemish and a drain on society. The normative solution is to care and provide for unfortunates and not kill them, in our society.

London Ontario was full of losers long before the junkies took up residence there. Watch, won't be long before an outraged London loser shows up on this very thread just because I called a spade a shovel. Fucking London losers.

They are bankrupting cities with all the resources needed. It's too easy to be a homeless junkie nowadays. Most are happy where they are. They get a bit of free government money, steal a bit, they always get by. Quit making it so easy for them, no motivation to improve themselves.

I spent a year in London. That was more than enough. Glad to be back in Toronto. Anyway, I'll soon be in Singapore anyway. Reunited with my old university roommate.

Speaking of junkies, one of them took my parking space. She and her cart with the 100 bags are now residing in that spot.

It doesn't matter how much government money you throw at them a vast majority are happy being beggars, drunks, addicts and homeless.
Look at the mess they left in the downtown hotels and surrounding neighborhood they were put in during Covid.

Nobody has come up with a good solution and I doubt anybody will. But I don't think giving them free drugs, free needles and injection sights is going to help.

Tax the rich, subsidize housing, add more social services and health care.
Its not rocket science.

way back when it was survival of the fittest. those with poor genetics, did not pass on their genetics. eventually nature ran its course.

sadly people can breed with no real consequence since the systems cares for those who are not able to be responsible for themselves. which perpetuates offspring who will follow the same cycle as the parent.

tax or stealing from other to give their money to people who did not earn it.

most people are rich or poor because of the choices they make in life. the choices of the parents reflect in their children. its a cycle which if people choose to, can break. it may require difficult decisions which most people do not want to make.

other peoples bad choices in life should not be the responsibility of others.

there never will be income equality. there will always be people who are at the top 10% and trickle down. so many factors the effect how a person will preform and earn income. not every person will be a similar level and therefore not be able to have the same achievements.

i dont have dog in this fight...............however i always question or challenge certain statements.........like for instance yours......."a vast majority are happy being beggars drunks addicts and homeless'...was a survey done to support this...did you wander around town asking these people..or did did you simply pull this out your ass to reinforce your attitude about them

That’s part of it certainly. How much, where how. Who knows.

For those on right. Who seem to feel “screw them”….and who love their guns.

know what we have the US doesn’t? Bedside air that’s not toxic …social values. Things like taxation, access to healthcare, education, mental health, programs that help ( not solve) inner city poverty, at risk youth and on on.

want to know why the U.S. is a cesspool, on a slow burn to the powder keg, where so many snap,go on shooting sprees and so much more…..if you think it’s because we have GC and they don’t…lol….

naxalone…
Hope you know that people who just get it ( Fentanyl) on their skin need it sometimes..you know like nurses, cops, etc and so on…

Answer at this point?
A lot of damage has been done to try and unravel so much. We can start by relieving tax burdens on the middle class down. The upper middle class. Have it pretty good.

we can start by finding ways ( like jobs) anywhere but the center of the universe. Look at San Fran ( disproportionate amountof yhe USs wealth. Large rich tech companies. Nothing else but the rich and poor)

you want that?
Because that. Is. Where things are heading.

There have always been hobo encampments and disenfranchised. Not so much on the present scale maybe. However, there is enough money to go around for everybody to share. Much in the same way as Russia has enough land without needing to invade Ukraine. Human nature I guess. Can't find a problem? Create one.
British government welcomes foreign investors and shows them tax loopholes so they can bulldoze affordable housing to build empty sky scrapers as a safe investment. The investors like to see a brick and mortar proof of where their money is. The problem of homelessness was created by governments of the rich.
