This isn't sexual, it's psychological. There is a phenomenon called the son husband, where the son takes on the role of husband to save his family from destruction.

There's the good Son-Husband like Wolfgang Van Halen. I've called him a Mama's Boy but it goes deeper than that, he tried to keep his family together when his father EVH was hell bent on self-destruction. His crystal meth addiction got so bad that he was pulling his own rotten teeth out with pliers. He needed oral surgery to save his life, in the end EVH beat the odds and got a 14 year life extension. At the same time EVH's self-abuse sent Valerie Bertinelli into deep depression, she has stated that she always loved Eddie. The remarkably grounded WVH helped her through the trauma, encouraging her to have a career off her own. Today she is a mainstay on the Food Network.

This one has me rolling my eyes in disbelief - The Bad Son-Husband: Ja Morant.

This incident is almost unbelievable when you consider the sort of talent Ja Morant has. He seemed to comes from a decent middle class family, the veneer is deceiving. Allegedly when Ja's mother gets into a petty altercation she calls her son for backup. This as left the star basketball player with an extremely thin skin. His second social media gun stunt could cost him his career. The cliche says, fool me once shame on me - fool me twice shame on you.

For awhile WVH was the emotional support for both his parents. Unfortunately EVH couldn't outlast his destructive behavior, he was felled by throat and tongue cancer.

Ja Morant's vertical leap is extraordinary. If he wants to have an NBA career, he need to disassociate himself from his mother...easier said than done!

This is going to get expensive.

I actually feel sorry for Morant, he's a goofy kid manipulated by his mother.

WVH likes his mother's baked zitti. 2004 was not a good year for the family, EVH was still taking nourishment from a straw, wvh was 13 at the time.

Imho Moonlight is the best film of the 10's, unfortunately it's overall score has been driven down by meathead homophobes. No other film explores the toxic mother son relationship to such a terrible degree. I think Emma Stone is a wonderful talent, no way did she deserve the Oscar over Naomie Harris. They went with the safe and cheerful over the corrosive and nasty.

Naomie Harris is best known as Miss Moneypenny in Daniel Craig's 007 series.

Moonlight is an exquisite film that resonates with its visceral storytelling and thoughtful exploration of identity.

Act 3 wasn't as powerful as what came before it, Writer/Director Barry Jenkins wasn't going for annihilation - that would have been too easy. He hints at it. Trevante Rhodes may have had the toughest role in the film, he had to be the bridge that binds the film.

The question I asked, would Black survive in the Baltimore streets of The Wire?

HBO's biggest mistake was not producing a S6. Correct me if I'm wrong, there was a writer's strike at the time. In S5 they hinted at an impending turf war between Marlo Stanfield and Michael Lee, it was never resolved.

I think Trevante’s performance was pitch perfect and courageous.
