rooms in public schools.

No doubt this will enrage the lefties/wokies/virtue signalers which means it is good public policy. Bear in mind it applies to only public schools. I am assuming it doesn't apply to private schools and of course to churches/temples/mosques/etc.

“Drainville has said that he can’t ban prayer altogether and that students who want to pray should do so discreetly and silently.”

You mean like using a prayer room or something.

I completely agree with this.

Public schools are not places of worship. They are supposed to be secular.

Good for Quebec.

I'll go one step further, all religious outfits should have their tax-exempt status revoked.

Lucky for Canada that Quebec is 180 from Florida. I was only partial kidding with the USSC banning footwear for women and religious fascists advocating for a Final Solution to the LGBTQ problem. Governor Cupcake Ron is expanding the Don't Say Gay Law to extend into High School, it's what they want. The ultimate goal is Christian Nationalism....Talibanism for America.

Je t'aime Quebec!

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

As long as they hold Christian prayer groups to the same standards as non-Christian ones, I don't see any issue.

Quebec also got rid of publicly funded protestant and catholic boards long ago. Too bad Ontario dealt with the issue in the opposite way.

No. We simply want religion to be respected at home and not be present at school or other public area like hospitals.

Lefties do not care if you believe in god or not. Just do not impose it. Much easier this way.
Do they still sing O' Canada in public schools? The song that tells our
kids God keep our land glorious and free has no place in public schools
and public areas where there is no God. If kids are still singing the anthem
it is time to revise the lyrics to teach them our land is not god-given but
seized from the natives.

Why did OP choose to write their post title that way and not just put the full sentence instead of being misleading?

The OP wants to keep titles short and not be paragraph(s) long.

I never sang the Canadian anthem in all of my public school years.
