Tim and Sid changed the landscape, their sportic Abbott and Costello routine made them very popular. Hopefully they can reunite in some format.

Tim and Sid changed the landscape, their sportic Abbott and Costello routine made them very popular. Hopefully they can reunite in some format.

Tim and Sid are Legends. You would even see them partying in clubs on King St.

They spoke to the new generation of sports fans and were relatable. Plus they didn't talk non-stop about hockey, like the other stiffs and dinosaurs did.

To me, they started losing their edge when they got bigger budgets. They didn't have that same grit that made it authentic.

Also when Sid left viewers and listeners staryed to drift over to Overdrive. Now with Tim and Friends you most likely get a double dose of Ken Reid. Ken is okay once in a while but too much makes you puke.

I never liked the idea of the sidekick off to the side at the kiddies table while Tim is sitting at the end of a huge table. It was a weird look.
