Well Tate moved to Romania because it was corrupt. Now he has to bear the brunt of the corruption. However given how much of a dirtbag he is, I wouldn't actually doubt he did what he is being accused of.

I'm betting that either he doesn't get charged at all or that he pleas to something ridiculously small just to get out of Romania.

How does the Romanian justice system handle accusers that have lied? Is it like in Canada where they walk free and remain anonymous after destroying people's lives? Or do they serve time that the person they falsely accused would have served?
If it's the latter, that would be the saving grace in what appears to be a miscarriage of justice.
It's a good thing that the house where the accusers stayed has cameras all over the place (for everyone's protection), and everyone was free to come and go as they pleased, and free to post on social media at any time, and free to talk to dozens of other girls in the house at any time.

He won't get charged until they bring him to trial, from what I understand.
You get charged when you get punished.
