I feel like I am under a cloud and not very smart to ask this. Is Trump
getting arrested or is he just said to be getting arrested? Other than
Putin I can't think of other big shots whose arrest was announced and
celebrated in advance.

My feelings is just that Trump annonced to keep the anger of his followers going.

Trump had half empty room at cpac and had to stop his rallies because nobody would attend and no venue wanted not to be paid…

Wrong. The Dems MUST do this because Trump is THE existential threat to the establishment- left and right. It's also an objective lesson to any other would be candidate naive enough to think that he can actually represent the ordinary voters.
