I feel for the landlord as they have their own expenses. The tenants should reach out as the landlord seems like they want to help. I can't imagine the headaches that come from renting.

Some of the laws and enforcement in this country are an absolute disgrace when these professional SCUMBAG renters are allowed to get away with this. Sometimes you just have to take the law into your own hands - have some muscle put their stuff on the curb and put them out and lock the doors. The way the law operates it would probably take them years to get around to dealing with me.

I think that you are right. REITS that own apartment buildings and provide professional management NEVER seem to have to put up with this type of bullshit from professional SCUM tenants. They have ways to deal with them fast. Also they probably investigate pending tenants much more thoroughly and avoid these type of tenants.

I was once 1 day late on rent only because I couldn't deliver it to the landlord (landlord accepted cash only and I was out of the country). When I came back one day late, after a long flight, the bitch had already changed the locks and locked me out. So I had to sleep in my car and then gave her rent in cash the next day.

Landlords can change locks, very easy to lock someone out of their house and demand they either pay or leave.
