I am vehemently against that in a democratic country ruled by
law like ours. I have to be realistic and compromise my principle
with places where the justice system is less than squeegee-clean.
In this case I'd rejoice if the Tate brothers end up spending the
rest of their life in Romania away from the social media. It'll
be great to see the world rid of its most influential misogynist
among the incels. I doubt other than a handful of idiots more than
a few politicians will grill Romania for violation of human rights. I
hope Tate cannot bride his way to freedom.
The true commitment to the rule of law and human rights is to truly and honestly embrace the concept of "blind justice" and equality before the law. You still have ways to go.

I don't expect the rest of the world to uphold human rights to the
same standard as we do. If Vince Li the Greyhound decapitator is
incarcerated while visiting China for beheading a cat I won't complain
because he isn't provided with adequate rehabilitation treatment. Likewise
I won't demand Romania to release Tate just because police here can't
detain a suspect that long under similar circumstances.

If the Tates were arrested and detained in Russia, no one would complain, at least not as much.

Aren't Jordan Peterson and Andrew Tate 'celebrities'?
No.. they're popular outside of the mainstream. They're maligned and misrepresented in mainstream media, castigated by mainstream media talking heads, censured by woke academia, and scolded by mainstream woke audiences.

When Hollywood or the academy gives you a nod of approval, when you're praised and popular for being unoriginal and never deviating from mainstream talking points even when they're wrong, when you're not a threat to current notions of acceptability, then you've become a celebrity.

Beheading a cat isn't illegal in China. It's called preparing ingredients.

Wrong is wrong, right is right- that's what you always get in the end. No matter the details.

Maybe one can get away with his own cat. Killing someone else's
dog or cat could you get you into trouble. Vast majority of the middle
class there in China don't eat their pets.

I don't disagree with you. I just believe a large part of the
world don't have to adhere to our legal procedure.

I know. I also happen to believe that some rights are universal or at the very least should be.

This is as obvious as Covid was from a lab, yet it will fly over the heads of people that have a gripe with what Tate says on social media. Therefore, injustice is ignored or commonly celebrated.

It's the strength of this impulse in peons that dictators of the past were so easily capable of creating scapegoats for ethnic cleansing. People will forfeit what they know is right from wrong, when the powers that be can demonize a person or persons.

We don't need Romania to change their legal procedures to align with our own. However, we can still condemn theirs as unjust.

We know that millions are suffering in North Korea 24/7 and we condemn that dictatorship without compelling them to change.

LOL!! Yeah, try what they're doing over there in US or Canada. You ideologues would sacrifice your mother on the pyre of your madness. Sad.
You think no one gets held in custody before their indictment in the US or Canada?
