Besides the obvious (but even then for some I'm sure) MPs seem much more relaxed. Safer environment I suspect.
I feel a little freer with SPs if you know what I mean--MPs tend to have more rules and limits. I do prefer SPs but there are times that an MP feels just right.

I've started with MPs and gradually hard swapped to SPs, sometimes see MPs but very rarely.
Here's why:
-Mainly I think you get better service from SPs, also the guarantee of certain services. Whereas with MP there is always a chance that they will or will not do a service. When time is my most valuable asset, I don't want to take chances anymore
-Average price of FS from MP is significantly higher than SP (from a quality spa that allows this)
