Needless to say, I am sure Emily isn’t looking forward to work on Monday.

I feel bad for her. She didn’t realize her legally allowed activities would make such a mess for her. Hopefully she will do the Talkshow circuit and appear on latenight TV, then write some bestsellers on office politics. Or maybe she will return to her home town up north and be sneered at when she shops at the general store?

There's more going on here.

There's no way he resigns over simply having an affair. Even with a woman who is 37 years his junior. I thought Tory was made of sterner stuff.

I don't know what else is going on, maybe he's going to be a daddy again, or maybe he wants to marry this young woman. I dunno. I just can't believe that this is all it took.
