He is finding it hard not to betray his thoughts on how bad and yet hilarious this is at the same time.

Yes, he's also probably thinking, "fuck, of all my songs you had to pick the one that 20 year old me wrote about what's her name"That was brutal!!!!! Of an already creepy song.
And I love the look on Sting's face right around 0:45.
Reminds me of people that butcher the American national anthem by trying to sing it originally.
You have to wonder about the person(s) who organized this. Obviously there would have been some sort of rehearsal and someone would have said "this guys sucks".
I actually love this song but this was a terrible cover.
The organizers should have picked someone else to sing it.
