What Pierre Poilievre actually said regarding bitcoin. Big swing and miss from the conservative leader.
The right honourable Justin Trudeau delivers a well scripted what looks like a monologue here and he hits all the notes that his followers want to hear. Great entertainment.
I'm not a big fan of trudeau but grudgingly I have to say hes right I also think judging by his performance that night he would have made a great stand up comedian

Seriously though Poilievre is going to wear this for a long time. Huge misstep.
Fair enough, but the price of Bitcoin is up almost 35% in 2023. You never know what's going to happen next with a volatile asset like Bitcoin.

Maybe 5-10% of a portfolio. Depending on a person's age and their net worth etc. Especially a Bitcoin ETF that pays a yield , as well.
That shows a value of about 25% now from peak.
Mind you, its not like rrsp's have done that well the last couple of years.
