Bob Einstein's "Super Dave" first appeared on Bizarre with John Byner, eventually spinning off into a series of it's own.

"Super Dave" also appeared several times on another tv show, doing his doomed stunts, name the show.

You got it. His name is James Hong. On the Seinfeld episode he was a restaurant host. In one Big Bang Theory he was a waiter, but in the other one he appeared to be more of a host.
James Hong is one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood. As of 2022 he has more than 650 film and tv acting credits!!!!

I believe it was the John Byner Comedy Hour in the early 1970s.....this was also the start of Officer Judy, another Einstein character.....he also played Super Dave on Van Dyke and Company.....

@unassuming: Do you think that's Margot Robbie, (2011 screen cap from Sports Show with Norm Macdonald)? In 2011, she was known outside of Australia only for being in the cast of the TV show Pan Am.

James at 15 was a 'coming of age' tv show drama, not a drama show about teenage angst, like My So-Called Life or Freaks and Geeks. Teenage angst show are usually comedies.
I would have answered "Square Pegs" because its theme song mentioned itself and it was definitely about teenage angst (as well as a comedy)!
