Vérification pictures? Am I overreacting?

i totally understand why someone would ask for a verification picture - especially with all the fake ads on LL. This is why I usually direct someone new in TERBs direction. I just feel like now, that’s not even enough! Some people are actually getting upset with me for not sending a verified picture - I’m all out of ideas and I always try to be respectful and nice in my answers. It’s just getting very frustrating and I don’t know how to handle it i don’t even send pictures for $$$ I’m just not comfortable with it - suggestions welcome!

Penny, there is only one guarantee in this business; you can’t please everyone. Sounds like you all doing all you can and are comfortable with. That should be enough with all the great reviews you have so don’t sweat it.

Appreciate you, thank you. I do believe that this is a servicing industry at the end of the day so I try by best to give the best service from moment of contact via message to the end of the session. I often use this analogy, sometimes we see a pair of shoes online, we get to the store and they look differently - so we leave and look for the next best thing. I never want to try and convince someone to have a service with me when they are clearly skeptical about my appearance from the beginning.

I will never book based on a LL ad alone. I use Terb and Twitter to get a better sense of whether or not the person is fake. Do you have Twitter? There are only some Terb reviewers who i "trust" so having Twitter is key for me. There is enough here that people should have confidence that you are real and amazing!

If you have an online presence (twitter, website, Instagram etc) you can always direct them there.

you should never feel a need to “prove” yourself.
If someone wants to see you they will, I understand a newer provider might feel they “should” but do what you feel comfortable with.

Thanks Nadia, I will reactivate my twitter with your recommendations once and a while I can handle, but my last 2 tours it was just an influx of verification requests - and I was thinking to myself, what is going on?? And then I reminisced on backpage days, and it went downhill from there!! Lol!

There used to be a time when ladies used to advertise in the paper, and there would be no pix at all, we'd actually just talk on the phone, and you could often deduce a lot of things about people just by talking to them. These days nobody talks, only texts, and the only way to deduce anything is through pictures.

Maybe you can setup a meet and greet at a donut and coffee shop, and you guys can talk and see each other, and deduce whether you want to see each other?

The question is at at hand ladies and gents,is it time we change the system and narrative because it's not working out very well anymore on both sides,ur right people don't talk anymore we need a site that is vetted and all the fakes and scams no more,then we would know who is who,look Leo's is the problem they r the engine that drives this crap we have,nice gals that join in on this thread r disrespected and the fake seems to get more air time on here go figure, ladies I recommend that start a site so us good guys can have fun again with no stress for u and us I'm just saying

In my opinion the clients that no show regularly are the reason that a lot of ladies require a deposit and the ladies that use photos that are "misleading" are the reason why some clients would like non photo shopped verification photos.
