And you think that teaching children to respect diversity etc is indoctrination? Is teaching respect for other religions or races indoctrination?

Is teaching children about the history of slavery or discrimation education?
Its not okay to push LGBQT agenda to little kids who dont even know what gay or trans means

You're splitting hairs. We are talking about situations like what this "Teacher" has forced on to everyone. And also teaching children that gender fluidity is "okay" and not a case of mental health.

Sounds like you are arguing its LGBTQ agenda to tell kids that gay and trans people exist.
A bit like Texas trying to ban the word 'slavery' in schools.
More like LGBTQ agenda to tell underage kids they can make life altering decisions, be counseled by unqualified people,
and be administered hormone blocking drugs, without the knowledge or consent of their parents.
You continue to be evasive and confuse.

If the kid is capable of understanding the risks/benefits of treatment and giving informed consent then parental consent is not required. No different than a 13 yo girl having an abortion.

That’s how it is here. If you don’t like it, leave.

You can start by being a bit more honest.

This really gives rebel I feather in their cap. No matter what your opinion this is a new story because it deals with human rights. Everybody should be covering it.

That's the spirit Mr. Bunker.
I guess if kids are "capable" we should let them enter legally binding contracts, have sex with adults if they consent, vote, let them leave school
if they choose, allow unfettered access to porn, join the military, that kind of thing, do you agree?

We have ages of consent for all of the things you’re freaking out over.

Not sure why you’re calling me Mr Bunker. You’re the one with bigoted views towards to LGBTQ community. Project much?
😂

Ok, we're going to take lessons from you about being honest.
You never responded to what you thought the board should do with that "social worker" for secretly transitioning that young girl,
against board policy as per the board's statement. You think he should be fired or not?
Or are you going to go about the veracity of the reporting, let's get a look at your honesty.

Conservatives!

Always trying to tell people what they can and can't do sexually.
Abortion - ban it!
Womens rights - No way!
Letting gay people be gay - No way!

You would think conservatives on an escort board might be understanding of other people having different preferences than them, but no, here we are.

There is zero evidence that the counsellor or social worker (and it appears there may have been both) 'transitioned' anyone.
What you are inferring is that some straight kid walked into counselling and walked out trans.
That's not honest or correct.

Nobody knows what happened, but the most likely thing is that the kid went in to ask questions because their likely conservative or religious parents wouldn't let them choose their own sexual identity.
The chances that a counsellor could 'transition' any teenager through counselling is nonsense, the kid would have to be very motivated to even want to talk about that with a counsellor.

Also, there were two articles on this story, one said the counsellor was abiding by board policy, one says they weren't. Which means its unclear whether they did anything wrong.

This whole 'grooming' nonsense is right wing scaremongering.

Really, quote me one bigoted view, or are you projecting.

Nobody's freaking out, you're the one getting your panties in a knot.
Given that we have ages of consent for those other activities, do you believe that transitioning from one gender to another should be exempt
from age of consent for an underage child?

These parents put it very well. It's not a matter of LGBTQ rights or transphobia. It's about what this guy is projecting and skewing as his "rights".

I would have pulled my child out of his class and demanded he be put in another shop class with another teacher. If that wasn't an option, then out all together and brought suit to the school board. I'm sure I would've had enough parents for a class action.

There is an age of consent for medical treatment. It protects children from parents like you.
