You misunderstand the "poison fruit doctrine".

If the cops coerce a confession out of someone in breach of their Charter rights and then conduct a search based on that unconstitutional confession and find contraband, the results of the search can then be excluded in court as they are "the poison fruit of the tree of the unconstitutional confession".
Romanian law may be different. Evidence of other crimes found during a search on a premises search warrant or warrant for arrest of a wanted person may be admissible in other countries.

My hypothetical was the girl going to the cops in London UK and saying: "Tate raped me in a flat in Knightsbridge 3 years ago".
If this is the case, he can be arrested on an international warrant.

I am holding off judgment till I hear what Piers Morgan has to say about it all.
He's probably phoning Tate right now asking if he's horny enough to let Piers blow him, since there are no ladies in jail.

If it came to light that the cops charged Tate for not paying his bribe on time, that's an added set of charges against the cops, not a walk for Tate.
lol Western thinking you show your bias. If Romania is as bad as they say as they say ( a big if) then Most there are annoyed by the western influence. The pressure from the world is forcing them to act. Income is a risk. A mistake will be manufactured. They will say what can we do some idiot mistake. He is guilty but we have to free him. The bribes will continue to flow happiness will result. Those who think west Will be satisfied. " They tried but they're incompetent."

Remember it's not just his bribe is at stake Put the whole drive system is at risk If you're not gonna get value for your bribe why pay it. Integrity is everything in the pay off system.

The Canadian equivalent is "it's before the courts" Which is the pr speak for saying I'm guilty But I don't want to go to jail I don't wanna talk about it and you'll be satisfied if I say this and I let me go. Only media capability make me go to jail and this ends the medias interest with a small news bribe or legal trade (IE the next News cycle)

or he did not pay his weekly bribe and the police decided to charge him sans evidence. the g20 here had thousands of illegal detentions and many police assaulting innocents yet i trust them more than the Romanians (which for all i know are the best cops in the world with an unfair rep)
So let's play this out. Tate doesn't fork over the required amount of dosh. The cops warn him and give him a further deadline. Tate says he's sick of their shit and dares them to do anything about it.

So the cops arrest him and it's on the news. What happens next......

Tate agrees to pay the bribe. What else is he going to do at this point?.... The cops have called his bluff and upped the stakes. So Tate has to fold. He gets his manager to e-transfer $50,000 to the cops.

What do the cops do?..... They flip a couple of Thousand $$$$ to the prosecutor's office and tell the prosecutor to agree to Tate getting out on bail. Prosecutor and defence appear before the judge and Tate gets bail.

(This has emphatically NOT happened, right?)

Tate skips bail and drives across the Hungarian border. Romanian authorities facilitate the flight. Hungarian border guards are paid off as well. Tate flies from Budapest back to Heathrow. Romanians deliberately fuck up and delay the paperwork to stop him.

6 months later, those 3 Romanian girls disappear and the English and American girls are found guilty of convenient Romanian crimes and deported from Romania. So there are no witnesses in Romania and the charges are all dropped. Tate struts back to Romania and thereafter pays his bribes on time and in the required amount. Tate and the Romanians are happy.

(This has emphatically NOT happened, right?)

I believe it's the opposite. He's too much of a high-profile self-incriminating loud mouth who needs to be made an example of.
Which is one of the differences compared to Epstein (since people insist on making the comparison).
Epstein did a lot of work trying to whitewash his reputation and so on, to reduce himself as a target.

So let's play this out.
I don't think we can dismiss that possibility, though.
This case could very easily vanish on some technicalities and lack of witnesses and it would be very hard to prove it wasn't just bribes or threats that got him out.

They might, but sounds like they're keeping him locked up for 30 days at least.

30 days for Tate is an eternity unless they've put him in a vacation spot, the two brothers are freaking out guaranteed.

Tate's problem is that he did not get any former presidents and princes to fly on his jet and use his girls.
That would have bought him 10 years.

Since Andrew is the first trillionaire he should make a lot of friends in prison. If he does not have cash with him they might take it out on his butt and big mouth. If Andrew slurs his speech more than usual when he gets out, you will know the other prisoners have been brushing his teeth for him.
