What’s up with that town?
Was there on Monday night and needed gas. Ran on fumes until I reached Brant St and felt safe stopping at 1am.

All gas stations close early for some reason. You have to go out of metro Hamilton.
There's ONE station open late and it is mainly for taxis.
Also, you can go thru flashing red stop lights if cross traffic is clear.

I was born and raised in Hamilton. Not much happening there and only reason to stay is cheap housing.

This doesn't make sense. Brant st in Hamilton? Not even dogs hang out in that area during the day, because nothing happens there.

Unless you meant Brant st Burlington city?

Watch out for the meth heads walking across the street in darkness and looking for you to hit them and or, pretend you hit them for insurance and or cash scams.

I guess so; there is actually a gas station on Plains Road near the Royal Botanical Gardens. I may actually fill up there today when I go to Hamilton. Indiana obviously doesn't know that.

Clearly Indiana doesn't frequent Hamilton a lot; most of the shops in the Downtown core close up at 6pm once all the Office Workers go home; yes, you do have a lot of homeless people with mental health and substance abuse issues, but with a few exceptions, if you leave them alone, they will leave you alone.

I think the homeless situation is more acute in Downtown Toronto; particularly around Eaton Centre and Trinity Square.

I think the cheap housing is disappearing rapidly; a lot more gentrification in the downtown area; I dread the day they actually start ripping out the roads for the LRT; probably is going to be a boondoggle like the LRT on Eglinton in Toronto.
