Denhams are great especially if you have thick thighs
Gee, thanks. And they're muscular, not thick.
I believe I read somewhere that Sidney Crosby has to have his jeans custom made as he could not get a pair of the rack that would fit his thighs, and those thighs were thick and muscular for sure.

I use to buy my colored jeans and rugby pants for casual wear at Marks. They no longer have old geezer jeans, only skinny leg jeans for kids.

Naked and Famous is a cool Canadian brand. Get yourself a nice pair of raw selvedge denim and don’t look back.

If you wanna shop locally, a couple of good stores are Dutil and Lost & Found.

Keep us posted on what you decide.

If you're thinking of AG, then you are probably looking for a higher end designer jean. If that's the case, the best fitting jeans I have ever worn and the only brand I will buy is a brand called Denham. They are from the Netherlands and very hard to find in Canada but you can order online. The Bay used to carry them at their Yorkdale store but no longer. I own about 8 pairs of these and are so comfortable and fit perfectly.

Although you can buy online, they don't ship to Canada so I went as far as getting a U.S. postal address so I can get them. I was also lucky that my son went to Amsterdam last summer and I had him go to their flagship store and get me a couple more pairs.
Those Denhams look super cool man and looks like if you are in shape (which I am sadly not haha), it would fit perfectly. I think after this weight loss thingy I am doing, I will buy a pair or two, and have it shipped to Detroit to my friends place or something where I can go pick it up in a day!

Reading this makes me glad I had an ex who taught me what women look for in clothes. I have AG and Paige pairs that fit me well - for the cost conscious, you can often find them both at Nordstrom rack.

Anyone actually wanting jeans that look good should take the time to go try on a bunch at a store like Over the Rainbow or Holt. HR has a good selection but OTR is better and their staff are specialized in jeans. Just be aware that most of us will be older than their typical clientele and some of you might freak out over a gay salesperson telling you how well things fit (they had some good looking women on staff too).

You can't go wrong with Denham's. Perfect amount of stretch but don't look like they stretch. I am somewhat in good shape so I always buy the 'razor' cut which is a more slim look but not a skinny look.

same reason why women spend $1000 on a little gucci purse.
My point really was one can get great quality and great looking jeans and not have to spend $300.
Also, referring more to men. We all know why women spend money on purses but we're talking about jeans and not purses.
Regardless I don't think women would need to spend $300 on jeans either to look good and feel great.
I have Diesel jeans for under $100. Men also spend money on other things we can discuss on a different thread.

Yes and bike riders/racers also - slim waist with disproportionate legs (at least sprinters)
