Well, its not really a boycott but more of under no circumstances will I reveal and quite frankly don't want the providers to reveal their tru identity, not that thats been offered but it would make no difference, someone must have an anonymous solution to the deposit request, I get the reason why the ladies want a deposit but identity is over the line...
Going through your posting history I found this thread.

Providers wanting to know who the client coming in to see them is, is not as over the top or over the line as you think.

What is it that makes an escort different from any other business with whom you deal with?

When was the last time you walked into a bank and opened an anonymous bank account?

We are curious to read your responses on this. We are not trying to antagonize you but wanting to know your point of view.

What kind of person, conducting what kind of transactions would want to use an anonymous bank account?

Generally of course, not in a niche kind of way.

Same with bank accounts, the majority of bank accounts even to open a cryto wallet you need ID. What percent of all bank accounts are anonymous?

Opening a bank account isn't illegal, nor does it carry the possibility of blackmail, social and family ostracization, divorce(with attendant financial losses), and career destruction.

Seeing an SP does. And while I agree that the vast majority of providers are smart enough, and good enough people to not out a client, not all are. And desperate people WILL do desperate things, as will angry people, and sociopathic ones.

Some men on here have too much to lose to risk open identification.

When was the last time you walked into a bank and opened an anonymous bank account? You can't. Are your operations PCI compliant?

This is a very valid concern on both sides which I don't think there is a perfect solution for - just based on what the provider is comfortable with based on her personal experiences and what the client is comfortable with based on their personal experiences. I think reviews and reputation are paramount when deciding whether to go with a booking - regardless of deposits or information required. When you look at businesses outside of this industry who do require deposits and personally identifying information - they are businesses that just don't have time to waste on time wasting patrons anymore because they are not hurting for business. Hotels, spas, service providers who book well in advance for their services, restaurants with a reputation and can demand a deposit or credit card information. I think a lot of providers want to be recognized as a legitimate business and enforce regulations based on that. However, there is a real concern for privacy and legal repercussions to worry about on the client side, so it makes for a precarious position.

I can only speak for myself when I say.. why would a regular patron of mine not be cool with providing me a deposit if he already knows I am reliable and has seen me before? That pisses me off. Also, why would someone be against me asking for a $100 amazon gift card (as an alternative if someone is uncomfortable with etransfer or paypal methods) as a show of good faith and acceptable method of deposit when there is no identifying information there, is beyond me.
Why would you need a deposit from a regular client?

If he's a regular, you know that he will show up.

You only need to look at the Blue Board (aka Jerry Springer board) to see the routine outing going on over there. There isn't a single day where someone isn't outed.

Statistically a woman in the industry is more likely to be killed, abused or a victim of crime than you being outed. Safety for the girls trumps your need for anonymity.

Um. As a client who is paying the bills I can chose. And do. That's not a knock. Just a statement of fact. You are a good service. But all it takes is one bad one.

Also are you lumping in the low level service with higher level service/agencies with those stats? Because I would assume while higher income people can be demanding pain in the asses(personal experience) they are also not likely to invite real confrontation.

For me it was always a literal hobby thing. I went through the pandemic and missed nothing imo. But I'm curious in light of C-36 why the need for client info is needed more now?

Well said. The fundamental problem with topics like this is that nobody knows how widespread it is. There's also no reliable way to know how many ladies require deposits or another form of screening.

Not knowing this information makes taking action let alone a boycott impossible. First of all, who would we be boycotting exactly? Does anyone have a comprehensive list (or willing to make one) of all the ladies that need deposits, references, ID or some other form of screening? Remember that not every lady out there is on Terb.
Lol its simple boycott anyone you know to ask for a deposit. no list needed. reward other provids existing boycotts exist for certain bad services already.

When was the last time you read in the news of anyone being blackmailed by an escort?
Pretty sure these things don't get actual coverage. And really? The blackmail is about hobbying becoming public knowlege. So news coverage defeats preventing that right? The Blackmail IS going public.

Since we started screening clients by asking for an EMT deposit, the girls working in our agency have reported feeling safer and more comfortable coming to work. In addition, we saw every metric in our business improve.

We have had 0 last minute cancelations, 0 no shows, 0 guys walking out, 0 guys booking for 60 min or longer and reducing it to 30 min because they finished too quick, 0 guys not paying escorts, 0 guys haggling with escorts, 0 guys pressuring girls into unsafe services and so on. In summary we have 0 drama.

Anonymity gives a certain type of guy a blank slate to have no accountability. We are not saying everyone seeking anonymity is so, but when creating a filtration system some of the good people may become unable to book because of the desire to stop the bad.

I am sure many girls adopt these policies because all girls in the industry talk, and the practice is going to become more mainstream since the benefits far outweigh the loss of a couple of hundred bucks.

The question was:

When was the last time you read in the news that a bank was blackmailing their customer?

Thus our answer:

When was the last time you read in the news of anyone being blackmailed by an escort?

The answer is proportionate to the question in logic and scope.

Kudos to you. We are not coming in their bedroom, calling their house or approaching them in the street to then force them to give a deposit. Those are baby tantrum because they feel entitled to not be held accountable when they are meeting with us which I consider predatory behavior. This is no loss for the industry. Bad clients go and good clients replace them. 🔁

That's a fairly one-side perspective. Not sure everyone would agree, and the issue is not as black and white as you've stated here.

I'm sure. And an agency will generally also have service standards, refund policies, and hold ladies accountable. The owners understand good business practices lead to long term success.

Indies don't have to do that. And some people can't see beyond the moment. And there is no recourse. I would still book with an agency. Especially one with a good track record. In fact yours was a go to when my hobbying was higher(hopefully returning but I've decided to break to clear financials). But never with an indy. C-36 kills recourse. As proven by various threads and reports.
