They deserve a year suspension from football.
I agree Edison Cavani went nuts in the tunnel and punch the VAR monitor throwing it down. He's old so I doubt he cares.

I guess nobody surprised Argentina won, what I hated is Argentina player Acuna diving continuously.

I thought USA played better before or the Netherland woke up, they did very well against the English.

Get in line, I'm smitten with Ms Beckie. You folks can have Kaley Cuoco, Janine is mine.

I hear she has an episode with Mafuzzy Chef upcoming.
I spotted Beckie first and had already posted her photo earlier on this thread. But she is a smart cookie, and her opinions on the match reviews makes a lot of sense.

Pffff, I've had Beckie fever since the 2015 Canadian Women's WC, her first International competition. That pic was awesome, I would have given it more than one heart emoji. She played for ManCity's women's club 2017 - 21.

I wonder what Mafuzzy Chef will cook for her?

NL-Argentina will probably go down to PK's, but I think we can prevail

Would like to see Messi vs Ronaldo in the finals.
I feel like Messi and Ronaldo underperform in world cups. They do great in their leagues but, in the world cup they dont shine as much as they are supposed to.

Crucial first goals against Mexico and Australia and a pulsating performance against Poland, Messi is not underperforming this WC. Phenomenal so far. Let's see how he performs against the Dutch.

South Korea vs Portugal. 91st minute. Son makes a long run, cuts through several defenders and passes ball to Hwang. Sweet strike. South Korea into Round of 16. For its timing, audacity, importance, this is the Goal of the tournament. So far

I think so too. If Denmark, who i originally thought would be main disturbance, i now think this Dutch team have everything to make it far. Perhaps like 2010 and all the way to the final?

As long as Messi is part of the Albiceleste, it's anyone but Argentina.

The Dutch are very strong on defense with Timber and Ake supporting van Dijk well. Van Gaal is playing it very smart by having the Atalanta lads De Roon and Koopmeiners (sp) in midfield, familiarity is an asset.

Japan and Korea are less skilled and less physically talented than most teams. But they make up those deficiencies with passion and cohesion. Japan over Croatia but Brazil too strong for Korea
