Other than Nolan Ryan, there are 4 other pitchers that have thrown no-hitters in both the AL and NL, name them.

This player is tied with Joe Sakic for most game tying or go ahead 3rd period and OT PLAYOFF goals since 1979?
Hint - This player is only 123rd in Career Goals.
New Hint - Generally considered one of the most unlikeable players of his era

Correct. I originally did the question with Anderson Hunt in mind — that UNLV team was pretty memorable so figured somebody might get it.

But found out there was one other when verifying the Q, so I had to ask for 1 of 2, in case somebody surprisingly answered Donald Williams of UNC.
Never would have gotten Donald Williams but now that you mention I do remember him. Obviously not as much as I remember Jerry Stackhouse or Rasheed Wallace. Damn that ACC basketball had some powerhouse teams in the early 90's.

In the early 1990's, it was uncommon for even star players from the NCAA to declare for the draft before completing their Junior year.

Before the early 1970's, Freshmen were not eligible to play for NCAA Varsity teams. The 1972 NBA Draft was the first to include Underclassmen, mostly because non-Senior star players were being poached by the ABA.

Here is a comparison of the first 30 selections in the 1972, 1996 and 2022 NBA Drafts, totals by prior team:

Prior Team197219962022
High School020
Foreign052
Freshman0212
Sophomore058
Junior245
Senior26121
Other2 (ABA)02 (G League)

We saw powerhouse teams in the NCAA before the mid 90's because the players played with each other for more than a single season.

There are only 3 MLB managers that have won the Manager of the Year award 4 times, name them.
