I have had a couple flings with co-workers who were subordinate to me in the workplace. In my industry its not un-common to have attractive females openly flirting it up with their higher up male managers and discreetly offering themselves in hopes of getting ahead in the company and advancing their career.
People eventually find out. In my industry, the male always get fired no matter if they are the head of a division or middle management.
Lucky I’m not on the look out for a relationship. Feel bad for the single people trying to find a partner in the workforce now that most companies disallow coworkers from hooking up because they are worried about potential lawsuits.

These days when things go bad, they can get you fired or they can sue the company. ( or both ) You can end up on the street, broke and broken after they shove a shit tube down your throat and turn on the 200 PSI from the liquid nasties tank on you. Who will hire you in this bad economy with a shit stained jacket like that?

I think we tend to hear more about the ones that went badly, and less so about the ones that worked out. While I've never done it, I wouldn't completely rule it out. A lot of it has to do with the people involved, and whether both parties are equally invested.
